Q: The opening is finally here. You mentioned during the Okinawa camp that you were enjoying the current style of football, but are you still able to enjoy it as we approach the opening?
I believe that by playing more matches, I will grow further, and I feel every day that I will grow while experiencing various irregular situations. Since challenges definitely arise while playing, I think it is important to value each and every match.
Q: Is it possible to discuss corrections within the team when things don't go well during the 90 minutes?
A, there are many experienced players as well. The final decision must be made confidently by the 11 players on the pitch, and without the parts the coach demands and individual ideas, it will never go well. I think it is important to manage that well, and I want to enjoy doing it.
Q: I'm looking forward to the opening match against Kawasaki Frontale.
A, Kawasaki Frontale is a team with well-established tactics and has won consecutive league titles, so as challengers, we want to face obstacles and grow.
Q: How do you perceive positional play?
A, since the coach values ball possession, you need to position yourself properly while considering the situation and timing, otherwise the ball cannot be circulated. While thinking about this carefully, you must not only consider the position where you want to receive the ball but also take into account the overall balance of the team. I want to work while observing the balance around me so that it functions well.
Q: Will the final finish require some creative ideas?
A, while taking care of the ball, I think there are times when you have to push forward to finish. I want to be able to build up play in a way that allows us to enter the attacking zone effectively while positioning ourselves well.
