Match Report
The home opener, Sec. 4, kicked off at 14:00 at Fukagawa Ground amidst light rain continuing from the morning.
After a difficult match last time, can Fukagawa secure a consecutive win and earn 3 points?
[First Half]
In the early stages, the first chance was created by Omiya.
In the 3rd minute, after the ball was taken on the right side and spread to the left side, a cross was headed but went wide of the goal.
In the 9th minute, Fukagawa received a cross from Anzai, and Aoki took a left-footed volley from Kajihira's return inside the penalty area, but it went straight to the goalkeeper.
In the 17th minute, Kawaguchi and Nozawa connected the build-up from Shinozuka to Anzai on the right side.
From there, Aoki received the ball in the center and broke through with a combination play with Yasuda, but his shot was blocked by the GK.
In the 31st minute, Yasuda received the ball on the left side, evaded two or three opposing defenders, and cut in towards the center.
He aimed for the goal with his right foot, but it went wide of the target.
In the 34th minute, it was a proactive defense that created a chance; applying pressure from the front on the ball held by the opposing DF, Aoki stole it and created a scoring opportunity.
However, we cannot score due to the opponent's DF putting up a strong defense.
Omiya also approached the Fukagawa goal with attacks that utilized the flanks widely, but the entire team, centered around the DF line, did not allow any clear chances to be created.
Fukagawa created a scoring opportunity but couldn't finish, and the first half ended scoreless.
【Second Half】
From the start, Fukagawa aggressively moves towards the goal. In the 43rd minute, Nozawa's shot from a tight angle is denied by the crossbar.
After that, the match continued with back-and-forth developments, but gradually Omiya began to find their rhythm.
In the 58th and 62nd minutes, there were continued threats as they were breached on the left side from a switch of play, but they were saved by goalkeeper Kumakura's catches and missed shots.
In the 67th minute, Fukagawa countered from defense, with Aoki breaking through and passing to the open Yasuda, but he couldn't make contact due to an irregular bounce.
Then in the 78th minute, the opposing forward broke through the center, and a foul was committed near the penalty area.
With this, the free kick given was directly scored into the left side of the goal, allowing the opening goal.
In the 79th minute, Fukagawa launched a counterattack, with Yasuda breaking through the center to create a scoring opportunity, but it was thwarted by a great save from the opposing GK.
Despite creating three consecutive chances from this corner kick, they were unable to score, and the match ended 0-1.
It was a game that wasn't bad in terms of content, but we still couldn't earn any points and learned once again about the harshness of the Kanto League.
I hope this defeat leads to the players' awareness and becomes a source of growth in the future.
