Match Report
The final match of the Golden Week 3-game series, the 10th round of the 2017 Kanto Youth (U-15) Football League Division 1, was blessed with clear skies and kicked off at 11:00 at "Tsukuba Academy Center".
【First Half】
The game starts moving early on.
20 seconds, the opponent's DF clears the ball and it goes over their head, then it falls at the feet of Aoki who runs in and strikes it with their left foot, piercing the goal.
Fukagawa, who took the lead in a good start, had consecutive chances for CK at 3, 4, and 6 minutes, but could not score.
After that, Fukagawa maintained possession of the ball and took control by using a combination of long balls and short passes.
Aoki shoots again from near the PA at 2734 minutes, but it goes over the bar.
Despite creating some tense moments in Tsukuba, in the 39th minute, Kawaguchi on the left side ran behind the opposing DF and cut into the penalty area, but his cross was unsuccessful.
The first half ends with a score of 1-0.
【Second half】
Fukagawa takes a shot from the middle after dribbling for 5 minutes, but the GK blocks it.
Sato, who received the ball on the right side in the 10th minute, had a good start by bringing it to the center and shooting with his left foot.
However, from here on, the simple attack of Tsukuba gradually takes over the pace.
Fukagawa tries to regain rhythm by putting in Sasunuma, but the center is broken and the score is tied.
Afterwards, GK Kumagura made a great save from the opponent's FK danger.
Sasunuma and Sato aim for a middle shot, but fail to score.
The opponent scored a header from a corner kick during what seemed to be the end of the game, and the match ended.
It was a frustrating defeat with a dramatic ending.
We should view this result not as a coincidence, but as an inevitable outcome, and clearly identify the challenges and prepare for the next match against Urawa Red Diamonds Junior Youth in the final game of the first half.
