Match Report
Under clear skies, the 2017 Kanto Youth (U-15) Football League Division 1 Sec. 12 was held at the Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multipurpose Ground.
The league has entered its second round, and the teams will face each other with a better understanding of their opponents' strengths and weaknesses.
【First Half】
In the early stages, both teams engage in a battle for control with intense defensive efforts to maintain possession of the ball.
7 minutes, Kaneko puts pressure on the back pass from the opposing DF to the GK and blocks the ball, but it goes outside the goal with no one there.
At 13 minutes, CB Shin passed the ball to Aoki who ran behind the opposing DF, but the opposing DF cut it off.
Kashiwa and Yasuda connect this second ball, and Aoki shoots in front of the goal again, but it goes wide to the right of the goal.
After that, Fukagawa continued to increase their possession rate with coordinated defense and composed build-up, and in the 22nd minute they were searching for a way to the opponent's goal.
When a rough cross is put in from the left side to the center, the clearing with a header is sucked into the teammate's goal and we fall behind.
Fukagawa, who continued the game calmly, passed the ball to Sugawara, who ran up the field, via Tokiwa and Yasuda, in the 27th minute with a build-up from Shin.
Sugawara boldly challenged one-on-one and crossed the ball, which hit the opponent's DF and changed the angle, resulting in a goal.
The first half ended in a back-and-forth battle, with the score remaining tied.
[Second half]
In the 44th minute of the second half, Aoki steals the ball from the opposing DF with an aggressive defense from the front line and heads straight to the goal.
Kaneko, who received the ball freely, calmly slid it in for his first goal.
As the back-and-forth battle continues, the defense remains focused and neither team is able to score as time goes on.
In the 67th minute, Kumakura calmly catches the opponent's chance and scores an additional point in the 78th minute.
Kawaguchi, who came on as a substitute, received the ball from Tokiwa and skillfully dribbled past the GK, calmly slotting it into the goal to score an additional point.
This Kawaguchi league match, first goal is the deciding factor.
The match ended as it is and we gained 3 points for the first time since Sec. 8.
There are still many challenges, but it was a game with many positive elements such as overcoming the deficit and the first goals of Kaneko and Kawaguchi.
I want to tighten my focus and prepare for the next match.
Thank you for your warm support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa today.
Thank you for your continued warm support.
