Match Report
The 32nd Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-15) Kanto Qualifiers will kick off.
Continuing from last year, we want to win one by one to secure a ticket to the national tournament.
The first match of this tournament, which is held in a knockout format where losing means elimination, kicked off in a unique atmosphere.

[First Half]
In the early stages, perhaps due to tension, the rhythm is disrupted by erratic passing and control, leading to continued battles in midfield.
In the 12th minute, Tokiwa received the ball in midfield, checked the position of the opposing GK, and took a long-range shot, but it was not well struck.
The opponent takes the ball with long balls and quick transitions between offense and defense, boldly shooting from distance towards the goal.
Around the 20-minute mark, we gradually settled into the match and advanced into the opponent's territory, but we couldn't break through their solid defense.
In the 31st minute, Tokiwai steals the ball in midfield and carries it forward with a dribble. Sugawara supports with an overlap, receives the ball, and advances deep into the opponent's court.
However, the cross goes directly out of bounds.
In the 33rd minute, Miura on the right side delivered a well-timed cross but was blocked by the GK.
Although they grasped the pace as time passed, they were unable to create decisive chances due to the opponent's high concentration in defense, ending the first half.

【Second Half】
Share tactics during halftime and prepare for the second half.
Fukagawa launched a fierce attack from the start, and in the 42nd minute, Miura's cross was volleyed by Aoki into the net, but it was ruled offside.
In the 43rd minute, Sugawara broke through with a one-two with Yasuda, advancing from the left side into the penalty area, but his shot was deflected by the post.
Although they occasionally faced counterattacks from the opponent, Fukagawa intensified their offensive, with Aoki taking shots in the 53rd and 55th minutes, both of which were blocked by the post and the GK.
The breakthrough came in the 58th minute when Yasuda dribbled down the left side and sent the ball to the center, where Sato ran in and scored with a direct shot.
From here, the match will be affected by the rain that has started, increasing in intensity.
In the 69th minute, a free kick was awarded near the penalty area, and Kumakura made a great save from the direct shot. Furthermore, Kumakura quickly responded to the opponent's shot from the rebound and defended the goal.
Fukagawa managed to survive this pinch, but in the 78th minute, as the ball was carried forward in a counterattack, a decisive long shot shook the net and equalized the score.
The match will end as it is and go into a penalty shootout.

[Penalty Shootout]
The first kicker for the penalty shootout, which was taken second, is Captain Tokiwa.
If this is firmly decided, the second player SAKUMA will also score a goal.
Then, when Kumakura saved the opponent's third kicker, Fukagawa confidently scored afterwards with Shin, Sato, and Aoki, securing the victory.

It was a significant match that reminded us of the tension of the first game, the difficulty of the tournament, and the rigor of the Kanto qualifiers.
The next game will be for the best 16, and an even tougher battle is expected.
I want to build on the challenges faced in the 1st Round and my daily practice and life, taking one step at a time up the stairs.
