Match Report
Sec. 32 Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-15) Kanto Qualifiers Losers Tournament 1st Match kicked off at 1 PM at Maebashi General Sports Park.
We will unite and challenge to obtain tickets to the Obihiro (National Tournament).
[First Half]
Fukagawa seized the rhythm from the start.
Quick pressing and fast vertical attacks approach the Marinos goal.
In the 2nd minute, Yasuda takes a long-range shot from a distance but misses the target.
Still riding the momentum, Fukagawa scores the opening goal in the 5th minute.
When Kimura headed away the opponent's long free kick feed, Aoki picked up the second ball and played a one-two with Nozawa.
Breaking through the opponent's defense, calmly slotting it past the opposing goalkeeper in a one-on-one to take the lead.
As the match begins, Marinos will use the width of the field to build up play and create pressure, but the deep defense of Fukagawa will not give them any openings, preventing any clear chances from being created.
If both teams maintain their concentration during the match, Fukagawa's chance will come in the 35th minute.
Aoki broke through behind the opponent's DF with a long feed from Shin, but his right-footed shot was denied by the post.
The first half ends like this, with a score of 1-0.
【Second Half】
Both teams are pressing towards the goal from the start.
In the 43rd minute, Aoki broke through to the penalty area and passed back to Nozawa, but it was blocked by the GK.
Marinos, in the 45th minute, shook off Fukagawa from a side change and advanced near the penalty area, but the shot went wide of the target.
In the 46th minute immediately after, Sato had a one-on-one with the goalkeeper due to the opponent's clearance mistake, but he couldn't score.
As the temperature exceeds 30 degrees and the tension of the tournament gradually drains stamina, it becomes a time of endurance for Fukagawa.
In the 61st minute, Kumakura deflected the opponent's cross once but was pushed in, making it 1-1.
In the 68th minute, a cross was delivered from a low position on the left side, and a shot from the post play pierced the net, resulting in a turnaround.
In the 73rd minute, Fukagawa delivered a cross from the right side by Sato to Aoki, who was waiting at the far post. Aoki calmly controlled the ball with his chest and scored, bringing the score level again.
As both sides aim for the final round goal, the tension rises, and an unpredictable situation arises.
In added time, a player from Fukagawa, who returned to his own penalty area during the opponent's counterattack, lost his balance and fell down.
The ball hits the hand and a penalty kick is awarded.
In this pinch, the 'guardian deity' Kumakura makes a super save, leading to extra time.
[Extra Time]
With the entire field filled with tension, the game begins to move from the start.
In the 81st minute, just after the start, we were beautifully broken through the center by Marinos' coordinated attack and lost the lead.
Still not giving up, Fukagawa scored in the 88th minute. Aoki, who had already scored twice that day, controlled the cross from Anzai with his chest, shaking off the goalkeeper to score.
Aoki's hat-trick goal equalizes the score to 3-3 for the third time.
As the second half of extra time begins, both sides become exhausted, and it becomes a battle of willpower.
In the battle for the ball, including aerial duels, Fukagawa shows his determination.
Time progressed with a tense atmosphere, and the possibility of a penalty shootout began to come into view at the 100th minute.
Tokiwa sends an accurate feed to the front line from a loose ball in the midfield.
Nozawa, who reacted to this, broke through behind the DF and had a one-on-one with the GK.
Amidst the gaze of everyone on the field, Nozawa calmly shook the net, scoring a thrilling comeback goal.
The defense maintained their concentration until the end of the match.
Having triumphed in a fierce battle, although there are still many challenges remaining at the middle school age development stage, I want to connect this victory, achieved by overcoming difficult situations and adversity, to the future growth of the team and individuals.
