Match Report
Sec. 32 Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-15) Kanto Qualifiers Losers Tournament 1st Match kicked off at 1 PM at Maebashi General Sports Park.
We will unite and challenge to obtain tickets to the Obihiro (National Tournament).
In stark contrast to the previous day, the afternoon in Obihiro City, Hokkaido was blessed with clear skies.
Following last year, FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa will make its 11th appearance and will face Urawa Red Diamonds Junior Youth on the second day of this group stage.
In the first match on the 15th, we faced SQUARE Toyama FC U-15 and won with a score of 3-0, aiming for consecutive victories in this match.

[First Half]
Fukagawa showed momentum from the start.
In the first minute, Tomoyuki Aoki takes the opening shot, and in the third minute, Soma ANZAI aims with a header.
The defense maintained compactness and coordination, showing stability, and GK Kumakura Takumi firmly caught the opponent's first shot directly in front of his body, demonstrating a good start to the match with a unified offense and defense.
In the midst of that, Fukagawa scores the opening goal.
In the 7th minute, Kazuma Sugawara passed to Ryosuke Shin, who had advanced high up the left side.
From there, it connected to Aoki, scoring the third goal in this tournament for two consecutive matches.
Gained the initiative in the match with a good start.
After that, in response to Urawa, who attacked using the field widely starting from the GK's powerful long kick, we countered with organized defense, quickly surrounding the ball holder with multiple players.
The FW line also energetically presses from a high position, sometimes taking the ball away completely, and advances the game with an advantage.

【Second Half】
The flow of the match does not change significantly in the second half.
Fukagawa maintained a compact formation just like in the first half, while Urawa threatened multiple times with sharp dribbling.
In response, the forwards also drop back, working together in both attack and defense to win the ball.
However, Urawa's attacks were formidable, and there were several dangerous moments, but each time, Fukagawa faced them as a group and continued to withstand the pressure.
Then, after stealing the ball, he actively aimed for the opponent's back from Ryosuke Shin's feed, threatening the goal consecutively in the 45th and 48th minutes.
Of course, Urawa was a strong opponent, but it can be said that Fukagawa performed wonderfully as the team responded well to that.
GK Kumakura's performance was also remarkable.
Urawa, trailing by one goal, attacked more vigorously in the second half, catching crosses and last passes with sharp movements, boosting the team's morale.
The collaboration with the DF line was good, and every player, both in the front line and the back line, worked hard to face Urawa.
However, as Masato OTA, the coach, said to the players at halftime, "It's precisely because we are playing a good game that a score of 1-0 is scary," in soccer, even a small incident can lead to a goal.
And that becomes a reality.
In the 79th minute, Urawa launched a fierce attack aiming for an equalizer and then a comeback, creating a chaotic situation in front of the goal, resulting in an own goal that tied the game.
The match ended immediately, and the 3 points quickly changed to 1.
It is a frustrating outcome, but we have no choice but to accept it and overcome it with our own strength.
And it is precisely because of that strength that I want to reflect on the part where we reached the land of Obihiro.

In the third match of the group stage on the 17th, we will face F.Cuore U-15 at 12:20 at Obihiro City Green Park A.
I want to decisively secure our advancement to the group stage here on our own.

Thank you for your warm support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa under the strong sunlight today.
We appreciate your continued enthusiastic support.
