Match Report
The first match of the 32nd Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-15) Kanto Qualifying Loser's Tournament kicked off at 1pm at Maebashi Comprehensive Sports Park.
To obtain a ticket to Obihiro (National Tournament), we will unite and challenge together.
The afternoon in Obihiro City, Hokkaido was blessed with clear weather, a complete change from the previous day.
Following last year, FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa will make their 11th appearance and face Urawa Red Diamonds Junior Youth in the second day of the group stage.
On the first match on the 15th, we played against SQUARE Toyama FC U-15 and won with a score of 3-0. We aim to continue our winning streak in this match.
【First Half】
Fukagawa showed momentum from the start.
At the start of the match, Yuya Aoki takes the opening shot, and in the 3rd minute, Soma Anzai aims for a header.
The defense is also stable and maintains compactness and coordination, and GK Kumasaka Takumi also showed a good start to the game by catching the opponent's first shot firmly in front of his body, becoming one with both offense and defense.
Meanwhile, Fukagawa takes the lead point.
7 minutes, Kazuma Sugawara started from the left side and passed to Shinsuke Araki, who had advanced to a high position.
From there, Aoki connected and scored his third goal of the tournament, making it his second consecutive goal in two games.
We were able to take the lead in the game.
After that, they responded to Urawa's attacking style, which utilizes the powerful long kicks of the GK to spread the field, with an organized defense that quickly surrounds the ball carrier with multiple players.
The FW line also aggressively presses from a high position, and at times takes possession and advances the game in a dominant manner.
【Second half】
The game situation will not change significantly in the second half.
Fukagawa maintained a compact formation as in the first half, and Urawa repeatedly threatened with sharp dribbles.
In response to this, the forward players also drop back and work together to steal the ball.
However, Urawa's attack was strong and dangerous situations were created many times, but each time Fukagawa continued to confront and endure as a group.
And when they take the ball, they actively aim for the opponent's back from feeds by Shinya Arata and others, and threaten the goal in succession at 45 and 48 minutes.
Of course, Urawa was a strong opponent, but Fukagawa, who responded firmly as a team, can be said to have performed a splendid performance.
GK Kumagura's performance was also impressive.
Urawa, who was trailing by one point, came out stronger in the second half and attacked more aggressively. They caught crosses and final passes with sharp movements, boosting the team.
The cooperation with the DF line is also good, and both the front line players and the back line players worked hard to confront Urawa.
However, as coach Masato OTA warned his players at halftime, "Because we are playing a good game, a 1-0 score can be scary." This is because in soccer, even small events can lead to a goal.
And it becomes a reality.
79 minutes, as Urawa comes attacking fiercely in an attempt to equalize or even turn the game around, they create a scramble in front of the goal and end up scoring an own goal, resulting in a tie.
The game ended immediately after, and the 3 points quickly changed to 1.
Although it is a very frustrating outcome, we must accept it and overcome it with our own strength.
And, it is worth remembering that it is because of that strength that we were able to reach the land of Obihiro.
In the 17th group stage match, F.Cuore U-15 will face off against each other at 12:20 at the Obihiro Green Park A.
We want to secure our spot in the group stage on our own terms.
Thank you for your warm support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa today, even in the strong sunlight.
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm.
