〇Match Report
Having completed the qualifying league the day before yesterday, we now enter the Final Round tournament where losing means elimination.
On this day, the weather was favorable, and the kickoff took place in the heat that made us forget the chill of the past few days.
The opponent is Kashiwa Reysol U-15, who are competing fiercely in the Kanto Division 1 League.
[First Half]
Fukagawa rises up and tries to take control by pressing from the front, but Kashiwa Reysol's smooth ball possession makes it difficult to win the ball back.
In the midst of that, centered around the defensive midfielder Tokiwa, they launched a quick counterattack and approached the opponent's goal, but were unable to score.
On the contrary, a critical pinch was caused by a marking error during the opponent's corner kick, but Kumakura made the save.
Both teams finish the first half at 0-0 without being able to take control.
【Second Half】
Substituting Sato for Nozawa at the start of the second half.
However, in the 49th minute, an accident occurs. FW Aoki is injured due to contact with an opponent and is substituted. Kaneko is sent onto the pitch.
Still, the two side midfielders, Yasuda and Sato, attempted to break down the opponent's defense, creating several decisive moments but failing to score a goal.
Furthermore, from the left corner kick, Tokiwa aims for the goal with a header but is saved by the opposing GK.
In the final stages, although the opposing team threatened the goal, GK Kumakura led the defense to prevent any goals.
[Extra Time]
In the first half of extra time, Sugawara breaks through on the left side with a dribble and delivers a cross. Kaneko goes in but just misses it.
Both teams are showing signs of fatigue as they face a decisive opportunity.
Kajiura picked up the loose ball from the opponent's corner kick and launched a counterattack with a dribble, closing in on the opponent's goal.
However, just one step away, the opponent's DF cut it off and it did not result in a goal.
After 100 minutes, the match remains undecided and goes into a penalty shootout.
Each person kicked the ball with their feelings for this tournament, but the result was a 3-4 defeat.
As a result, FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa's national tournament has ended.
It is regrettable that we could not deliver a victory to the fans and supporters who have always sent warm cheers from faraway Hokkaido, but we must sincerely accept this result and its content.
And with the experience gained here, I will value each day's practice and work hard as the Kanto League resumes.
I want to aim for the top in the Winter Emperor's Cup.
Thank you for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa today as well.
Thank you for your continued warm support.
