Match Report
With 4 matches remaining, the 2017 Kanto Youth (U-15) Soccer League Division 1 was postponed by one day due to the typhoon and held with a kick-off at 10 AM on the 18th.
With the support of fans and supporters this matchday, we want to extend our winning streak in the league to three and make a final push.
【First Half】
The match starts with both teams using simple long balls in the early stages, but Fukagawa gradually takes control of the rhythm with pressing from the front line.
In the 13th minute, a through pass from Miura to Anzai allows Yasuda to time his run perfectly behind the opposing defender.
Reacting to the through pass that came out in line with this movement, I touched it before the opposing GK and took a shot, but it went over the bar.
In the 19th minute, Yasuda broke through from Anzai's through pass, evaded the opposing DF, and took a shot, but it was right at the GK.
After that, everyone worked together in defense, especially the defensive midfielders Tokiwa and Kajiura, who stifled the opponent's attacks and increased possession rate.
In the 32nd minute, Yasuda faced forward in midfield during a build-up from Shin and made a through pass to Anzai.
Although he carried the ball to the goal, it drifted outside, but from there, Sato, who ran up, took a shot from the returned ball, which was also right in front of the goalkeeper.
Increased possession and created chances, but could not finish before the end of the first half.
【Second Half】
At the start, the opponent's two forwards moved at the right timing, gradually pushing us back.
In the 48th minute, they advanced through the center and took a mid-range shot, but it went wide of the goal.
Fukagawa had Nozawa, who came on as a substitute, switch on the defense again, and in the 58th minute, he sent the ball stolen from the opponent's DF to Anzai.
The shot, calmly taken after evading one defender, went straight to the GK.
In the 61st minute, after intercepting the opponent's build-up, Nozawa took a shot himself but was blocked by the GK.
After that, the time continued at Fukagawa's pace, and in the 74th minute, the ball passed from Kimura to Sato, then to Anzai, and was delivered to Miura, who had overlapped.
Yasuda reacted to the precise cross that came in from there, but it went just a few centimeters wide of the post.
In a frustrating situation where we can't score, we find ourselves in a pinch.
In the 77th minute, the opponent dribbled deep into our left side, and the defense was unable to respond to the crossed ball, resulting in a shot that missed the target.
Then, in the 79th minute, Nozawa received a through pass from Kimura, turned, and attempted to go for the goal, but was blocked by the opposing defender.
Tokiwa reacts to the loose ball and takes a decisive shot. Although it is initially saved by the GK, the rebound falls to Tokiwa, who calmly slots it in for the long-awaited opening goal.
In the 80+2 minutes, Oya, who made his debut on this day, stole the ball from the opponent and sent a through pass to Nozawa, who managed to score despite being surrounded by opponents, making it 2-0.
The match ends here.
It was a game that could have ended scoreless or with a few chances taken, but as a result of aiming for victory until the end, we earned 3 points.
With 3 matches remaining, I want to face the challenges and spend my days without regrets to achieve my goals.
Thank you for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa today as well.
Thank you for your continued warm support.
