Match Report
With only 3 sections left in the 2017 Kanto Youth (U-15) Soccer League Division 1 Sec. 20, which started in March.
The climax of Sec. 20 was held in clear weather at the away 'Shin-Yoko Football Park'.
This game is an important match to secure a spot in the top four for the Emperor's Cup to be held in December.
We unitedly challenged the Yokohama F.Marinos Junior Youth.
[First Half]
At the start, due to the pressure of a top-tier matchup and the stakes of qualifying for the Emperor's Cup, the rhythm in both defense and offense was not established, even after 7 minutes.
The opponent broke through on the right side and scored a powerful long-range shot, allowing the first goal.
Additionally, there was an incident where Miura had to be substituted due to injury, but the early goal conceded clarified the way of fighting, allowing the team to gradually advance into the opponent's court while coordinating both offense and defense.
Both sides, Anzai and Yasuda, created chances with their dribbling breakthroughs, but the ball went wide of the target when it was aimed at Nozawa in the center.
In the 21st minute, they gradually pulled the flow closer.
On the right side, Anzai completely evaded the opposing defender and delivered a cross, which Aoki calmly controlled with his chest and struck into the back of the net to equalize.
After that, a back-and-forth battle continued, ending the first half at 1-1.
【Second Half】
From the start, Fukagawa takes control with quick vertical possession after winning the ball from the front line defense.
In the 54th minute, Nozawa starts running at the right moment for the ball that Aoki has controlled deep in the opponent's court.
Calmly slot this in with your left foot to turn the game around.
In the 64th minute, from Anzai's corner kick, captain Tokiwa scored with a header, marking his fifth consecutive goal and further boosting the team's momentum.
In the 67th minute, a scramble in the penalty area led to a loose ball falling to Nozawa, who scored directly to make it 4-1.
All players, including substitutes, fought until the end, securing 3 points in an important match and earning the right to participate in the Emperor's Cup.
In the training camp held in February this year for the establishment of the new team, we were able to achieve the goal set by everyone to qualify for the Emperor's Cup in the Kanto League.
Not everything was perfect, and it wasn't all smooth sailing, but I want each player to turn this result into confidence, aim to revise our goals upward, and push forward for the remaining period.
Thank you for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa today as well.
Thank you for your continued warm support.
