Match Report
The 2018 Kanto Youth (U-15) Soccer League Division 1, Round 3 kicked off at 12:30 PM at Home Fukagawa Ground.
[First Half]
In the early stages, the battle in midfield continues, and gradually, Fukagawa increases their possession rate.
In the 17th minute, Yamazaki received a pass from Yoneda, cut in, crossed the center, and took a shot.
In the following 20 minutes, Nozawa received a through pass from Kajiura, broke through the side, and delivered a cross. Kajiura received this and took a shot, but it was blocked by the defense.
In the 26th minute, Yamazaki picked up the opponent's clearance ball and his left-footed shot from a dribble was blocked by the GK.
After that, Mogi, along with Beita and Hidan, actively pushed forward with shots, maintaining pressure throughout, but they couldn't score, and the first half ended at 0-0.
【Second Half】
Fukagawa pushes into the opponent's court from the start, looking for chances from both sides.
In the 59th minute, Yamazaki dribbles and passes to Kameda in the center, who then passes to Nozawa as they enter the penalty area. From there, Yamazaki takes a volley from the returned ball, but it is blocked by the goalkeeper.
In the 64th minute, Nozawa received a pass from Yamazaki and took a long-range shot, but it did not result in a goal.
Fukagawa faced a crisis in the 67th minute when Ishii's clearance was intercepted, and the space behind was exploited, but Ishii threw himself at the last moment to prevent a goal.
Although the plays towards the goal increased afterwards, they could not take possession, and the match ended.
Although we couldn't secure 3 points, the defense was able to play patiently while maintaining possession of the ball for a long time.
In terms of offense, I want attacking players to demand the ball and play towards the goal, but the relationship is improving with each match.
I want to improve further during the spring break period and connect it to the next game.
Thank you for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa today as well.
We appreciate your continued enthusiastic support.
