○Match Report
A cold wind blew, and it became the winter chill at AJINOMOTO FIELD NISHIGAOKA.
Under a clear blue sky, we will compete in the Final Round of the 'Takamado Cup U-15 Soccer Championship' for the title of the best in Japan for middle school students.
The opponent is Zweigen Kanazawa U-15.
As U-15 Fukagawa lost in the Final Round last year after a penalty shootout, they want to win this year and raise the Emperor's Cup for the first time in four years.

Before the match, Coach Ota encouraged the players, saying, "Our main goal today is to win. This is our home, let's unite our spirits and fight together." This is the culmination of the season's efforts.
Carrying the hopes of fans, supporters, and everyone involved with FC Tokyo, the players step onto the pitch.
The match started at 13:00 with a kickoff from Kanazawa.

[First Half]
From the start, Tokyo shows aggressive movement. They steal the ball with intense pressing in the midfield and utilize their dynamic two forwards to advance the ball vertically.
In the 6th minute, DF Oya, who overlapped from the right side, delivered an early cross, but the combination of MF Yasuda and FW Motegi attempted to break through the final line, but it did not connect well.

Tokyo's attacks continue in succession. FW Mogi breaks through the side with individual skill and sends a negative cross to the center.
FW Nozawa jumped in on the near side and took a shot, but it just missed the target. The match progresses in Tokyo's rhythm.

Around 10 minutes in, Kanazawa gained possession of the ball, but Tokyo countered with quick pressing. Tokyo wants to regain the ball and connect it to an attack.
Kanazawa was awarded the first corner kick of the match, but the DF line blocked it with determination and managed to avoid any issues.

In the 18th minute, Tokyo built an attack from the side, and DF Oya's cross was aimed at the goal by FW Mogi, but it was caught by the GK.
Although they cannot score, FW Motegi leads Tokyo's attack.

Then, in 20 minutes. A goal is scored from the combination of the two forwards.
FW Mogi receives the ball on the right side of the opponent's half and makes a vertical move. While dragging the opponent along, he advances into a deep position with a dribble and delivers a negative cross to the center.
It was FW Nozawa who jumped in there. He scored brilliantly, and Tokyo succeeded in taking the lead. 1-0
Nozawa scored his ninth goal of the tournament.

After scoring, Tokyo maintains control of the game. They do not allow Kanazawa to create any chances as the match progresses.

A free kick is awarded to Kanazawa in the 30th minute, slightly to the right of the center of our own half.
The ball with a long hang time flies to the far side, but GK Kerishima bravely comes out and catches it. He does not allow the opponent to create a chance.

Even towards the end of the first half, Tokyo's pace remains unchanged. They skillfully spread the ball to the sides, widening the distance between the opposing players.
MF Kajiura, MF Koida, and MF Yasuda effectively utilized the space created there to control the match.

Tokyo maintains a 1-point lead as the first half ends.

[Halftime]
Coach Ota's Comments
"We are pushing the opponent and playing well. However, this tournament is not so easy that it will end like this."
Continue to do what we need to do and give it our all until the end

[Second Half]
Today at Nishigaoka, the wind is strong, and Tokyo will be downwind in the second half. We need to be careful not to let Kanazawa's momentum affect us.

2 minutes, the first chance of the second half is for Tokyo. DF Ishii's accurate feed is controlled by FW Motegi, who shoots. This was caught by the opposing GK, but Tokyo continues their attacking time.

11 minutes, a big chance for Tokyo. GK Keshima's feed was kept by FW Motegi, who passed to FW Nozawa, who moved into the space behind.
Nozawa took a shot, but it hit the opponent and the ball spilled. DF Oya picked it up and crossed.
In the center, FW Mogi was waiting, but the shot did not connect. They missed the chance.

Even after 15 minutes into the second half, Tokyo's pace remains unchanged.
The time spent with the ball held by Kanazawa increases, but we will thoroughly aim for short counters without rushing.
The defense puts their bodies on the line to protect the goal and create the rhythm of the attack.

In the 18th minute, we gave Kanazawa consecutive corner kicks, but everyone returned to defend. We want to maintain our concentration.
In the 22nd minute, MF Matsumoto was brought in to replace MF Kiji, who had been making plays on the side.
Matsumoto moved to the left midfield, and MF Yasuda changed position to the right.

After about 20 minutes into the second half, Tokyo gradually finds themselves under more pressure. They try to push back, but are unable to create chances, leading to a period of patience.

Then, the patience in continuing to play at Kanazawa's pace paid off at the 34th minute.
FW Mogi receives a pass while holding off an opponent at the front line, then uses individual skill to evade the opponent and breaks through on the right side.
Scored brilliantly from an angle-less position to secure the goal. Tokyo seized the additional point they desired. 2-0

In the 39th minute, MF Miura replaced MF Kameda on the pitch.

Tokyo shows tenacious play until the end.
Withstood Kanazawa's fierce attack and heard the final whistle of the match at 2-0.

As U-15 Fukagawa, we achieved the Emperor's Cup for the first time in four years, and the players who fought until the end in last year's Final Round, where they faced disappointment, showed expressions of joy on the pitch.
Coach Ota quietly repeated his fist pumps, savoring his joy.

With today's results, we have won the Takamado Cup U-15 Soccer Championship. Thank you for your support.
