Match Report
Musashi won the opening match with a dramatic late-game goal.
The opponent in Sec. 2 is Mitsubishi Yowa SC Chofu Junior Youth from the same Tokyo.
This will be a match at the away Mitsubishi Yowa Association Chofu Ground.
[First Half]
At the beginning of the match, both teams fiercely press each other to seize control.
In the 6th minute, the left side was almost breached, but Natsuki Watanabe cleared it with a sliding tackle, preventing the opponent's attack.
Musashi launched an attack from the left side for 10 minutes, sending a through pass from Sudou to Watanabe Souta, but it was offside.
In the 11th minute that followed, with intense pressing from the front line, Toshima Kurihara picked up a loose ball and took a bold shot from distance, but it went over the bar.
After that, as they increased the number of times they won the ball through pressing from the front line, it was the 18th minute.
Natsui Watanabe sent in a left corner kick, and Sota Watanabe scored with a powerful header to take the lead.
Musashi, who was in the lead, faced a counterattack from the opponent.
In the 20th minute, the ball was taken from our half and a shot was taken, but we closed in to prevent a clean hit.
In the 25th minute, Furuya responded. In the 26th minute, a free kick was awarded, but they managed to defend well, centered around Momoi.
Although they created situations where they were attacked, they did not give away any clear chances with focused defense.
In the 33rd and 35th minutes, they continue to threaten the opponent's goal but cannot score an additional point.
Even so, in the 38th minute, when Sudou jumped in from the right side cross, the defender was drawn to Sudou and the ball flowed to the far side.
Ichikawa, who ran in there, confidently scored the second goal.
Scored the second goal at a good time, leading 2-0 at halftime.
【Second Half】
At the start, Chofu applies even more intense pressure than in the first half, but Musashi responds bravely and does not yield the pace.
Musashi launches an attack starting with Sota Watanabe.
In the 46th minute, he took a shot himself. In the 49th minute, he connected a through pass to Sudou, approaching the goal.
And the third goal came in the 53rd minute, breaking through the right side with a series of passes. Watanabe Sota created space in the penalty area, and Kobayashi made a run from the second line.
Kobayashi advanced to the edge of the goal line and sent a cross, which Sudou, waiting in the center, confidently finished to make it 3-0.
Musashi had extended their lead to 3 points, but in the 55th minute, a long ball was played behind the DF, leading to a collision between the Chofu FW and Musashi DF in the penalty area, resulting in a penalty kick being awarded.
This penalty kick is scored, making it 3-1.
In the 58th minute, we gave a free kick to Chofu in our own half, but we put our bodies on the line in front of the goal to prevent a shot.
In a difficult period where they were somewhat pushed back, Shota Kurihara, who was brought on in the 61st minute, scored a goal.
In the 62nd minute, Ichikawa picked up a loose ball from a scramble in the front line and sent a superb through pass behind the Chofu DF.
Here, Shota Kurihara calmly scores in a one-on-one with the GK, changing the unpleasant atmosphere.
After that, although they faced the opponent's attack, they concentrated on responding while communicating with each other, led by Furuya, during the additional time.
Sudou, who received the ball at the front line, held it up and passed it to Koudai Ueda. As soon as Sudou started running behind the opponent's defense, Ueda delivered a superb through pass.
Sudou, who faced Chofu GK one-on-one, assessed the GK's movement and scored, making it 5-1.
The match ended with a victory of 5-1, marking the second consecutive win since the opening.
