Kanto Youth (U-15) Soccer League Sec. 12.
Musashi is currently on a four-game winning streak and riding high at the top of the league.
This week's opponent is 2nd place Kumagaya SC Junior Youth.
The crucial top-of-the-table clash that cannot be lost kicked off at Musashi Ball.
[First Half]
The match starts with a fierce battle for control from the outset.
As the defense struggles against Kumagaya's long ball-centered attack, they begin to create rhythm in response.
In the 14th minute, Kurihara (Toshi) initiated a central breakthrough with Ueda (Hiro), and in the 18th minute, Watanabe (Natsu) broke through the left side and sent the ball to Kobayashi in the center, who took a bold shot from distance but missed the target.
In the 26th minute, Ueda (Hiroshi) stole the ball in the front line, and when Kemiyama received it, he took a long-range shot that just missed the target.
After 30 minutes of being attacked by Kumagaya, there was a scramble in front of the goal due to a physical attack.
However, the entire Musashi defense, led by GK Ito, puts their bodies on the line to prevent any shots.
In the 37th minute, a header from a free kick was made in front of the goal, but it went wide of the target.
In the 38th minute, Kurihara (Sho) and in the 40th minute, Kemiyama took shots but were blocked by the opposing GK.
Neither side gave way, and the first half ended 0-0.
【Second Half】
In order to strengthen their offensive, Musashi brings in Tanimura to replace Kurihara (Toshi).
From the start, Musashi actively aimed for the goal. In the 42nd minute, Watanabe (Kou), Kemiyama, and Watanabe broke through with a series of passes on the right side.
Watanabe's cross is met by Tanimura's header, but it goes just outside the goal. The substitute players bring momentum to the team.
Gradually approaching the Kumagaya goal, Musashi picked up the second ball in the 54th minute, passing it to Kemiyama in front of the goal.
Kumeyama, who reacted to a through pass that seemed to stop the opponent's defense, calmly scored to take the lead.
With the lead, Musashi maintained focus in defense, and Ito made stable saves to prevent any goals.
As Kumagaya's energy gradually decreases, Musashi ramps up their attack even further.
In the 69th minute, Ueda (Hiroshi), who broke free from Watanabe's through pass, calmly scored one-on-one against the GK to make it 2-0.
In the additional time at 80+1 minutes, the loose ball in front of the goal was passed from Kurihara (Satoshi) to Kemiyama, who struck it confidently with his right foot.
Pulling away with a score of 3-0.
The match ended as everyone maintained their focus to respond to Kumagaya's relentless attack until the very end.
Won the top-of-the-table clash 3-0, earning 3 points.
