○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
This year, the Takamado Trophy U-18 Football League 2017 Premier League EAST will kick off.
Last year, Tokyo finished in second place after losing to Aomori Yamada High School in the final match. The players and staff continue to aim for the goal of "fighting for three championships" as they did last year.
Since there are no U-23 matches this round, all players belonging to the U-18 team will unite to take on the opening match.
The opponent in the opening match is Shimizu S-Pulse Youth, continuing from last year.
Coach Sato said, "Let's fight passionately and calmly for 90 minutes. I think there will be more times when things don't go well, but let's work together with a sense of unity especially when things are tough," as he sent the players onto the pitch.

[First Half]
As the cherry blossoms beautifully bloom on the back stand side, the match that started with Tokyo's kickoff begins cautiously for both sides.
Tokyo is looking for opportunities with long passes targeting Hara in the front line while maintaining possession of the ball.
However, it was Shimizu who took the lead.
In the 17th minute, facing forward near the center circle of their own half, a surprising long shot shakes the net.
After conceding the first goal, Tokyo earned a free kick near the right corner of the opponent's penalty area in the 18th minute. Kubo aimed for it, but it went over the top left of the goal.
In the 24th minute, after being fouled during a dribble breakthrough by Kubo, a free kick was awarded from a position about 25 meters slightly to the right of center, and Kubo scored directly into the bottom right of the goal to equalize.
Tokyo was leading, but in the 27th minute, they were awarded a free kick. It seemed that the wall had blocked it, but due to a handball decision, they were awarded another free kick.
This was directly pierced into the upper left of the goal, allowing us to fall behind again.
Tokyo, wanting to equalize, saw Haru head a floating pass from Shinada in the penalty area to Kubo, who aimed with a right-footed shot but missed above the goal in the 36th minute.
In the 44th minute, Haru dropped a floating pass from Shinada, and Kobayashi (Makoto) jumped in, but the GK came out and caught it.
Trailing at halftime.

【Halftime】
Coach Sato: "Let's control the ball contests. Aim for behind the opponent and increase the tempo of our passes a little more. Let's face soccer and fight until the end."

【Second Half】
Tokyo aggressively took the initiative from the start.
While controlling the ball and launching attacks from both sides, in the 61st minute, Okaniwa delivered a precise cross from the right side, and Hara's header was deflected off the left post.
Tokyo, gaining momentum, equalized in the 66th minute when Shinada connected with Kubo and Hirakawa in midfield. Hirakawa then dribbled forward and scored with a controlled right-footed shot.
From here, the match will see a rapid exchange of offense and defense.
In the 70th minute, Shimizu was allowed to advance deep into the right side, and the header from the cross hit the bar, with the rebound also allowing a free header, but it went over the goal.
In the 71st minute, immediately after, Kobayashi (Makoto) stole the ball deep on the left side and delivered a low cross, but Kubo attempted a jumping volley that went over the goal.
In the 80th minute, Takase blocked the opponent's scoring chance with his body.
In the 84th minute, Kubo advanced alone on the left side and made a last pass to Kobayashi (Miki), but the GK caught it just in time.
In the 90+3 minute, while both teams were aiming for the final goal, they broke through the right side and entered the penalty area, scoring at the far side to make it 2-3.
This became the final point, resulting in a loss at the opening match.
