○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
In the opening match, we conceded a goal in stoppage time, marking the third consecutive year of starting with a loss in the 2017 Prince Takamado Trophy U-18 Football League Premier League EAST.
This match coincides with the U-23 games, and many players will accompany the U-23 team, resulting in changes to the lineup from the previous match.
Coach Sato said, "There are players who will stand on the Premier League pitch for the first time, but let's keep challenging ourselves. Let's value each situation, especially focusing on set plays and winning second balls as we compete." and sent the players onto the pitch.

[First Half]
Many players are making their debut in the Premier League, and it has been a rather stiff start with difficulty in connecting passes.
In addition, the strong wind makes it difficult to control the ball, leading to a challenging period.
In the midst of this, Urawa launched an attack from the side, pushing forward several times to the front of the goal, but showed a solid defense centered around the center backs, Shinohara and Masaru HASEGAWA.
After about 15 minutes, as they gradually settled down, Yokoyama and Imamura, among others, applied pressure from a high position, preventing Urawa from establishing their rhythm.
In the 17th minute, Yokoyama took the ball from the press and made a surprising long shot, which became the first shot of the match.
In the 25th minute, Imamura intercepted the opponent's pass mistake and took a shot. The opponent's goalkeeper barely touched it, but unfortunately, it was blocked by the post.
After that, the battle in midfield continued, and just when it seemed like the first half would end, in the 43rd minute, a ball lost on the right side was skillfully converted in the center, resulting in a goal conceded.
Allowed an early goal at an unpleasant time, ending the first half.

【Halftime】
Coach Sato
"Each of us should take more initiative. And let's pick up more second balls. In the second half, we will be downwind, so let's be mindful of the wind and fight to the best of our ability."

【Second Half】
Due to the influence of the wind, we continue to be pushed back by the opponent from the start.
To break this flow, Sugiyama was brought in for Imamura in the 54th minute. Gradually, a rhythm in the attack began to develop.
Following the instructions from Coach Sato, Haga on the left side initiated a dribble to create a chance, while Yoshida and Sugiyama made movements to break through behind, putting pressure on the opponent.
In the 65th minute, Haga connected on the left side and took a shot from a tight angle.
Although blocked by the opponent, we will definitely bring the game to our pace.
Then, in the 70th minute, a free kick was awarded in the center. Shinada sent a superb ball to the center, and Yokoyama firmly headed it in to equalize the score.
With this, Tokyo, fully gaining momentum, creates chances with attacks from Shinada and Kobayashi (Makoto), along with bold plays from Tsukino and Haga, who came on as substitutes.
Urawa also pressed towards the Tokyo goal with a quick counterattack, but the defense, with everyone putting their bodies on the line, did not allow any goals.
Goalkeeper Takase also actively came out to prevent several dangerous situations from the opponent's cross balls.
In the 90+1 minute, at Tokyo's pace, Kobayashi (Makoto), who received the ball on the left side, floated a cross into the center.
Sugiyama, who was waiting there, took a step back and made a header shot.
The ball slowly slipped into the Urawa goal, achieving the long-awaited comeback goal.
Sugiyama heads towards the Tokyo bench where other players are waiting, and is congratulated by everyone.
In the 90+3 minutes, when it seemed like the match would end as is, we gave the opponent a corner kick, but Takase made a brave leap to firmly catch the ball, and the match ended.
Among the members making their debut in the Premier League, the players were also bursting with joy at the victory they all achieved together.

Thank you very much for your warm support for the players today as well.
