○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
The 41st Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship Kanto Tournament Final Tournament 1st Round was held at the Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multipurpose Ground, amidst high temperatures and scorching sunlight.
The opponent is NPO Suginami Socio Football Club U-18.
Coach Sato, who leads the team as the reigning champion of last year's national tournament, said,
"This tournament, which leads to becoming the best in Japan, will be a total team effort. Today's game is the first step towards that. Let's humbly face soccer and play to win."
The temperature is high, but we should put in our power from the start of the game. Let's use our strong set plays and fight. I told the players before the game, "Let's kick off at 13:30."

【First Half】
From the start, the players in the front line, Yoshida and Imamura, press together with the midfield players to steal the ball from the opponent.
In the attack, Hitoda and Kobayashi spread passes to the left and right to build up the attack.
Despite taking control and carrying the ball multiple times towards the goal, the opponent's physical defense prevented them from taking a good shot.
After 24 minutes of such a situation, the first goal is born.
Sugiyama, who received a pass from Arakawa, who created a chance on the left side, sends a cross ball. Yoshida skillfully heads it in and scores the first goal.
Tokyo, who gained momentum, scored their second goal in the 33rd minute when Imamura, who was left free on the far side, pushed in a corner kick from Hinaida with his right foot on the inside.
In the 34th minute, after defending from the front line, Shinaida brought the ball into the penalty area and was fouled by the opponent, earning a penalty kick.
In the 36th minute, it seemed like a bad atmosphere was flowing as Shina missed the PK himself and was blocked by the opposing GK.
Yokoyama, who had the ball on the right side, sent a high cross that the opposing GK deflected, and Yoshida followed up to make it 3-0.
At the 40th minute, Imamura powerfully scored a left-footed shot from a dribble, and at the 43rd minute, Kusasumi perfectly headed in a right corner kick taken by Shinaida, making it 5-0.
End of the first half.

【Halftime】
Coach Sato
"Regardless of the 5-0 lead in the first half, let's continue to attack with the intention of finding the opponent's weaknesses. Let's also maintain a solid defense and keep a clean sheet in the second half."

【Second Half】
Haga, Takahashi, and Kubo are substituted in at the start.
From the start, we dominated the game from a high position and continuously brought the ball to the goal, but we couldn't score.
Then in the 57th minute, Sugiyama received a pass from Shinaida in the center and swung his left foot from a dribble, hitting the right post for our 6th goal.
Tokyo, who does not let up their offensive, will continue to pile up goals in the second half starting with this goal.
62 minutes, Arakawa who broke through the left side passed to Kubo waiting in the PA and scored a goal with one touch, making it 7-0.
In the 66th minute, Hinaida was replaced by Nakatani, and in the 79th minute, Kobayashi was replaced by Suzuki to further accelerate the momentum.
79 minutes, Haga, who held the ball in the center, successfully broke through with a first touch from a one-two with Kubo and scored a difficult angled shot from the left goal.
In the 85th minute, Shinohara, wearing the captain's armband in this match, headed in a left corner kick taken by Yokoyama, scoring the 9th goal.
In the 86th minute, Kubo swung his right foot with determination and scored the second goal of the match, making it 10-0.
In the 90+1st minute, substitute player Suzuki dribbled down the left side and passed it to Haga in front of the goal.
Haga dropped the ball to Kubo, who had become free while skillfully blocking the opponent, and Kubo calmly scored a hat-trick in this match.
Immediately after the game resumed, Sugiyama's shot in the center was blocked by the opposing goalkeeper, and Nakatani, who came on as a substitute, reacted well to the ball and scored, making it 12-0.

Although there was a big point difference, the most important thing in this game was to win.
Led by Shinohara and GK Takase, who commanded the defense line, the team maintained a high level of concentration until the end and advanced to the 2nd Round together.

Thank you very much for your warm support to the players today.
We kindly ask for your continued support and warm cheers for FC Tokyo U-18.
