With clear weather and just the right temperature, the 41st Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-18) Kanto Tournament 2nd Round was held at Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multi-Purpose Ground.
Coach Sato said, "We need to win properly for 90 minutes. To do that, we must not lose in key situations like ball contests. Let's be aware of the changes in the tempo of play and perform accordingly." to the players.
The opponent Thespakusatsu Gunma U-18 won the scoring battle in the 1st Round and will come into this match with momentum.
The match that determines qualification for the national tournament kicked off at 13:30.

[First Half]
Tokyo, who was able to enter the match calmly, takes control from the start.
Approaching the Gunma goal while maintaining possession of the ball in a high position.
In defense, they apply pressure from the front with quick transitions between offense and defense, while center-backs Shinohara and Kusazumi disrupt the balls entering towards the opposing forwards.
The opening goal came in the 7th minute, when Yokoyama received a floated ball from Kobayashi (Makoto) during a throw-in from a high position on the right side.
With a skillful body rotation, he accurately struck the ball with his left foot and, despite being deflected by the opposing goalkeeper, it went into the goal with a powerful shot.
Continuing to connect passes while aiming for additional goals, Tokyo scored in the 15th minute when Sugiyama received a pass from Kobayashi (Miki) on the left side and scored with his left foot.
After 25 minutes, they connected the ball stolen from the front line, and finally, Sugiyama scored consecutively.
In the 43rd minute, just before the end of the first half, they exchanged passes in the midfield and spread the play to the right side. Sakaguchi passed the ball to Yokoyama, who made a run forward, breaking through on the right side.
Yokoyama passed the ball to Hara, who was free in front of the goal, and he scored with his left foot to secure an additional point.
Tokyo maintained possession of the ball throughout and created many chances from both sides, leading 4-0 at halftime.

【Second Half】
At the start of the second half, Kobayashi (Miki), Sakaguchi, and Takase are replaced by Imamura, Okaniwa, and Ohmoto, sending three players onto the pitch.
Similar to the first half, Tokyo pushed the opponent and controlled the game. In the 51st minute, Imamura, who came on in the second half, created a chance.
Shinada, holding the ball near the center halfway line, connects with Imamura who has broken through behind, and while competing with the opponent, he makes a dribble attempt.
From that dribble, it became a scramble, but Hara pushed the loose ball in with his left foot, scoring his second goal of the day.
Yoshida, who just came on for Hara in the 64th minute, scored with his left foot from a pass by Sugiyama, who created space near the center penalty area.
In the 68th minute, Shinada calmly scored from a loose ball after Sugiyama's cross from the left side, extending the lead.
In the 73rd minute, they brought in Fuki for Sugiyama, further accelerating the offensive.
In the 78th minute, Imamura, who had the ball in the center, took a shot. Although it was initially blocked by the goalkeeper, he pushed in the rebound himself, making it 8-0.
Tokyo, not easing their attacking efforts, saw Kobayashi (Makoto) score in the 82nd minute, followed by Imamura in the 85th minute, with both goals initiated by substitute Fukino.
In the end, we defeated Gunma 10-0 and secured a spot in the national tournament.

Not only scoring many points, but Tokyo also maintained high concentration throughout the match, keeping a clean sheet, and the players who came on as substitutes made a proper impression. Tokyo will fight with full strength in the quarterfinals.
