FC Tokyo U-18, aiming for their first championship in two years, will compete in the 41st Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-18) Kanto Tournament Final Round.
The Final Round match venue will be held at 'Shin Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Ground'. Even in the environment of power outages and water supply interruptions, the players calmly proceed with their preparations.
The opponent in the Final Round is Kawasaki Frontale U-18, who advanced by defeating Yokohama F.Marinos Youth and Kashima Antlers Youth.
Coach Sato said, "It will definitely be a tough game. Various players have shown their strength to get here. We will do what we always do as usual." and encouraged the players.
The pleasant breeze blew as the match kicked off in Tokyo at 13:00.
[First Half]
The ball was controlled by Kawasaki.
The team builds up play carefully from the GK and tries to take control.
Tokyo, led by Hara and Kubo in the front line, applies coordinated pressing as a team, not allowing any freedom.
The first chance came in the 17th minute, when Hara won the header from Takase's goal kick and connected with Kubo, who unleashed a shot with his left foot after a dribble.
The opposing GK blocked this, and Hara rushed in but was ruled offside.
After that, Tokyo took control from defense and changed the game in the 41st minute.
The opposing GK delivers a goal kick to a player just outside the center of the penalty area, but they struggle to control it.
Kubo did not miss this opportunity, stole the ball, advanced into the penalty area, and was fouled, earning a penalty kick.
Kubo calmly settled in the right corner and succeeded in scoring the opening goal.
In the final 45 minutes, Okaniwa forcefully broke through two opposing players on the right side and created a chance.
The defense, centered around Shinohara, puts their bodies on the line to prevent any goals, leading by one point at halftime.

Tokyo, making a change in their attack by substituting Yokoyama for Kobayashi (Miki), initiates the play.

In the 48th minute, Kobayashi (Makoto) cut in diagonally from the left side and aimed for the goal, but it went wide.
In the 59th minute, Yokoyama stole the ball from an aggressive press from the front line and aimed for the goal from the right side, but it was saved by the goalkeeper.
Unable to score additional points, Tokyo substituted Kubo and Hirakawa for Sugiyama and Arakawa in the 63rd minute.
