○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
On May 7 (Sunday), the match against Kashiwa Reysol U-18 will be held, marking the 6th round of the 2017 Prince Takamado Trophy U-18 Football League Premier League EAST.
FC Tokyo U-18 is currently in 4th place with 10 points from 3 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss.
The opponent, Kyoto SANGA F.C. U-18, has 2 wins, 3 losses, and 6 points, placing them in 5th place.
Coach Sato said, "Since it's been a while since the Premier League, we need to fully engage in the game."
Let's win and create a gap with the teams below us, aiming to climb higher. The key will be whether we can win against the opponent in set plays and matchups.
Kyoto, wanting to catch up in the upper ranks, and Tokyo, wanting to pull away, kicked off their match at home 'Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multi-Purpose Ground' at 15:30.

[First Half]
From the start, Tokyo aimed to establish rhythm by simply sending long balls from the defensive line and the low midfield position to the front line.
However, the first chance was taken by Kyoto.
In the 5th minute, after giving the opponent a right corner kick, the ball was crossed back to the center from the far side and was pushed in by an unmarked opponent.
In response, Tokyo will immediately counterattack.
In the 9th minute, Hasegawa from center back supplied the ball to the front line, where Hara won the competition against the opponent and connected it to Kobayashi (Miki).
Kobayashi (Miki), who received the ball in the center, made a one-two with Sugiyama and broke through. He dribbled into the left penalty area and struck with his left foot, piercing the top left corner of the goal to equalize.
Tokyo, gaining momentum, dominates the match and approaches the opponent's goal.
In the 32nd minute, Hirakawa earns a left corner kick from a dribble attempt.
Okaniwa delivered a sharp ball to the near post, but Yokoyama's header was deflected off the right post.
After that, they created several chances from Haru in the front line and Yokoyama's breakthroughs on the right side, but they couldn't score and ended the first half in a draw.

【Halftime】
Coach Sato
"We are dominating the game, but the score is currently tied. Let's improve the quality, precision, and speed of each play."

【Second Half】
Both teams started the second half without making any substitutions, and Tokyo took control.
In the 47th minute, Yokoyama received the ball from Kobayashi (Miki) in the center and took a powerful shot from the right side.
This was deflected by the opposing GK, but Hara, who was in front of the goal, tried to head it in, but the opposing defense cleared it.
They continued to create chances but were unable to score, until they took the lead with a goal in the 73rd minute.
Picking up the loose ball from the opponent's free kick, Hirakawa sends a precise pass to Hara, who has broken through behind the opponent's defensive line.
Kazuya receives this while maintaining his speed, competes with the opposing DF, and strikes with his right foot to score in the bottom left corner of the goal.
Tokyo, continuing to hold the initiative for 90 minutes, saw Okaniwa's right corner kick powerfully headed in by Shinohara for an additional goal.
Secured a 3-1 victory without showing any gaps to the opponent, accumulating 3 points.
