○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
The 41st Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-18) Day 3.
Despite the kickoff time being changed on the morning of the game due to bad weather, the team continues to prepare without losing focus.
Tokyo, who is the only team in the group to have won two consecutive victories, has secured a spot in the final round of the group stage.
Kyoto Sanga F.C.U-18, our opponent for this match, will have a difficult time advancing to the knockout stage if they don't win. They will come at us with high motivation.
Tokyo, who took training and rest seriously yesterday, aims for a third consecutive victory in this match, striving for recovery of their condition.
Manager Sato reminded his players before the game, "The outcome lies in the details. Let's fight for 80 minutes according to our own standards. Defense will be crucial with the ability to steal and erase. Let's enter the game with determination." and sent them onto the pitch.

【First Half】
The first half began with Kyoto's kickoff, and Kyoto dominated the ball. However, Tokyo continued to hold the initiative.
Kyoto will launch attacks from a careful build-up, including the GK.
In response to this, Tokyo uses a two-top formation with Hara and Kobayashi (Miki) leading the way, pressing from the front line to steal freedom and prevent the opponent from entering their own territory.
The first chance comes from a corner kick.
6 minutes, as Hitoshi Hinaida jumped into the near side of Yokoyama's head, but the opposing defense blocked near the goal line.
In the 11th minute, Kyoto sent a left corner kick to the far side, but debut starter Ohmoto calmly punched it away.
14 minutes, 21 minutes and the right side is threatened with a goal, but the defense responds and does not give up a point.
At the 28th minute, Hitoshi chased after a long ball kicked deep into the left PA, and when he changed his body, he was fouled by the opponent and earned a penalty kick.
Kobayashi (Miki) calmly kicks it to the left and takes the lead.
Tokyo, who does not give up the lead, sent a long ball deep into the left side in the 33rd minute, and Sakaguchi ran in to cross it negatively.
Kobayashi (Miki) aims with his left foot near the goal, but is blocked by the GK's excellent defense.
The additional point was taken just before the end of the first half at the 40-minute mark.
Kobayashi (Shin) passed to Okaniwa, who made a run into the right side and supplied a vertical dribble to a liner cross towards the near side.
Hara heads it in despite a difficult position, and the first half ends with a score of 2-0.

[Halftime]
Coach Sato
"In the second half, the opponent will come at us with a lot of power. Instead of just receiving it, let's go at them with the mindset of covering them. Let's not forget that we are leading by 2 points and focus as we go in."

【Second Half】
Kyoto tries to maintain their advantage in ball possession as in the first half, but Tokyo increases their possession rate by substituting four players.
Kobayashi (Miki) and Sugiyama limit the opponent's passing route on the front line, while Terayama and Hirakawa aggressively approach the ball that has entered the midfield.
In addition, even against long balls, Shinohara does not give up control of the airspace and repeatedly challenges and covers to prevent the opponent from creating chances.
When Tokyo takes the ball, they use a combination of quick vertical attacks and slow build-up play, while also evading the opponent's press with short passes to progress the game.
64 minutes, substitute Kubo for Kobayashi (Miki) to make a change.
70 minutes, when the ball is sent to the left side, Kobayashi (Shin) chases after it. The opposing DF tries to block, but Kobayashi successfully takes the ball and passes it to Kubo.
The opponent DF blocks the shot from deep inside the left PA, which was taken by Sugiyama who came to support.
Kubo picks up this loose ball and tries to dribble, but he crosses the line and it becomes a goal kick.
In the 72nd minute, Sugiyama dribbles in from the left and Kubo makes a run behind the defense. He passes it to Yokoyama who came in from the right, but his shot is saved by the goalkeeper.
Kyoto also 76 minutes, a strong middle shot comes from the center, but Omoto saves it by jumping to the right.
Tokyo, who did not lose their concentration until the end, defended against dangerous situations and did not give their opponents any freedom, ultimately ending the game with a victory.
Finished the group stage with 3 consecutive wins.

After receiving this result, we advanced to the round of 16 by winning the group stage.
