○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
The Takamado Trophy U-18 Football League 2017 Premier League EAST Sec. 14 will be held away at 'Hitachi Kashiwa General Ground'.
The day before, FC Tokyo's manager Sato passionately told the players, "We absolutely cannot lose today's match against Kashiwa Reysol, who lost in the J1 league match yesterday."
And "The system doesn't matter. Hard work and battling for the ball are important. Let's fight together without giving up until the last second."
Many fans, supporters, and parents gathered to fill the stands for this crucial match that could bring us closer to the top depending on the results from other venues.
With pride as a club, the players challenged Kashiwa.

[First Half]
The match starts to move in the early stages.
In the 8th minute, Yokoyama, who had been kicking good balls in practice, delivered a pinpoint pass to Yoshida, who jumped in at the near post to score the opening goal after winning a right corner kick.
From here, the match will develop showcasing the characteristics of both teams.
Kashiwa connects short passes from the build-up, including the GK, preventing Tokyo players from receiving the ball and narrowing their focus.
In response, Tokyo applied pressure with Yoshida and Imamura working together at the front, while Sugiyama and Terayama picked up the second balls based on their characteristic high work rate.
However, they are unable to regain possession of the ball and are pushed back into their own territory.
In attack, Yoshida and Imamura quickly break behind the opponent's defensive line multiple times to create opportunities by stealing the opponent's ball.
After getting through this period, Imamura had a chance in the 32nd minute, and Yokoyama approached the goal in the 34th and 39th minutes, but they could not score additional points.
Then, in the 43rd minute, Sugiyama intercepted the ball on the right side of the midfield and advanced with it, breaking through the right side after a one-two with Yoshida.
An early cross into the goal area sees Imamura dive in, but he just misses it.
In the 45 minutes immediately after missing this chance, we cleared the opponent's right long throw once at the near post, but it was passed back to the opponent again.
If this is sent to the far side, it will be pushed in freely, and the score will be tied as we head into halftime.

【Halftime】
Coach Sato: "This will definitely not be an easy match. Both teams' goals are related to set plays, so we need to be careful in both offense and defense. Let's do the dirty work and make sure we can do what we want to do."

.

【Second Half】
From the start, after being subjected to a fierce attack from Kashiwa, Tokyo's guardian stands in front of the goal.
In the 46th minute, after punching away a cross from the left side, immediately in the 47th minute.
A cross from the left side is blocked at the near post. The loose ball is picked up, creating a decisive moment, but Takase spreads his body to narrow the shooting angle, sending it wide of the goal.
In the additional 50 minutes, another low cross from the left side went to the far side, where Takase dove with his body spread out and sent the shot off target.
In the 57th minute, a powerful jumping volley from the opponent attacked the goal, but it was caught directly in front.
Continue to fight tenaciously without giving up the lead.
To regain the flow, Tokyo brought in Kobayashi (Miki), and immediately stole the ball from the opposing DF, advancing straight into the penalty area.
A powerful shot taken, but right at the GK.
Furthermore, by sending Hirakawa and Kubo onto the pitch to increase the pressure, the winning goal is scored by Kobayashi (Miki).
In the 79th minute, Kubo cut in from the right center and took a shot, and Kobayashi (Miki) picked up the rebound and struck a mid-range shot into the net to take the lead.
After that, they continued to apply pressure, maintaining control while advancing time, and with Shinohara at the center, they repelled the opponent's power play, leading to the end of the match.

Tokyo, who controlled a good game with fierce battles for the ball and demonstrated high skills from both sides, has narrowed the point difference with the league leaders Shimizu S-Pulse Youth to '1'.

Thank you very much for your passionate support for the players today as well.
