○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
Takamado Trophy U-18 Football League 2017 Premier League EAST Sec. 15 is a match against Kyoto Sanga F.C. U-18 away.
In this match, which is the final game of Sec. 3, the current 3rd place Tokyo is only 1 point behind the 1st place Shimizu S-Pulse Youth.
We want to win at all costs and stay close to the top position.
Before the match, news came in that Shimizu, who played earlier today and is currently in first place, won against Kashima, which raised the players' spirits significantly as the kickoff approached.

[First Half]
From the start, Kyoto is carefully moving the ball with the GK and DF line, occasionally inserting sharp vertical passes, trying to break through Tokyo's defensive network.
Tokyo calmly responded to the opponent's possession, not allowing them to enter the goal area, while stealing the ball in midfield and launching effective counters.
In the 23rd minute, just after an incident where Terayama, who started for the second consecutive match, was injured and had to leave the field due to a foul by the opponent, Sugiyama intercepted a pass from the opposing defender with sharp reading and movement, and then dribbled into the vital area.
A superb through pass was sent to Yoshida, who made a run behind the defensive line. With an excellent first touch, he took the ball and, keeping a close eye on the goalkeeper, struck it into the top left corner of the goal to score the opening goal.
Leading 1-0 at halftime.

[Second Half]
As the second half begins, the match progresses at Tokyo's pace.
In the 52nd minute, Kobayashi Miki volleyed a cross from Okaniwa, who broke through on the right side. It was a decisive moment, but unfortunately, he couldn't hit the target.
After that, Yoshida and Sugiyama continued to take shots, but they couldn't score an additional goal.
In the 66th minute, Shinada took a left corner kick that was met by Hasegawa, who jumped in at the near post to score the long-awaited additional goal.
In the 76th minute, Sugiyama dribbled down the right side and passed to Hara in the center. Hara struck the ball powerfully with his right foot, driving it spectacularly into the near top corner to extend the lead.
After that, with the fresh players who came on as substitutes at the center, we did not allow the opponent to counterattack and achieved a 3-0 shutout victory.

Accumulated 3 points and was able to chase after the leader Shimizu without falling behind.
The Premier League will resume from November 25, with the J Youth Cup in between.
With three matches remaining, we will unite as a team and fight with all our might until the end, aiming for the highest stage we couldn't reach last year.

Thank you very much for your passionate support for the players today as well.
We appreciate your continued support for FC Tokyo U-18.
