The 2nd Round of the 2017 J.League Youth Championship was held at the Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multipurpose Ground.
Manager Sato tells the players, "Let's surpass the opponent who comes to win. Unexpected things may happen, but let's demonstrate our everyday abilities."
The team's opponent, Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo U-18, advanced to the 1st round with a 5-1 victory over Shiogama FC Youth.
The game kicked off at 3:00 PM amidst heavy rain caused by the typhoon.

【First Half】
Amidst the heavy rain, which has caused many puddles on the pitch, Tokyo started the game by using a lot of lofted passes and attacking simply.
The first shot came at 5 minutes, with Yokoyama aiming directly at the GK after receiving a direct free kick from a high position on the left side, but it was deflected.
On the other hand, at the 17th minute, when they were in a pinch, Shinohara blocked the shot by throwing his body in front of the ball that was loose in front of their own goal and picked up by the opponent.
28 minutes, Tokyo welcomes a big chance. Fushino, who has the ball near the halfway line, sends in an early cross.
After being rejected by the opponent once, Takahashi, who was up front, picked up the ball and controlled it, and shot without hesitation.
Unfortunately, we couldn't score a goal as it hit the bar.
Tokyo, which had been slowly approaching the goal, gave away a direct free kick on their own left side in the 34th minute. They all defended the ball that was lifted in front of the goal with their bodies.
However, when the opponent connects with a loose ball and takes a shot, Takase initially blocks it but then the opponent follows up with a second ball and scores the first goal.
Tokyo will immediately launch a counterattack.
43 minutes, connect the ball from a high position on the right side with a throw-in to Sugiyama in front of the goal.
Sugiyama sends a floating pass to Kobayashi (Sato) with the ball.
Kobayashi (Sato), who received the ball with his back to the goal, skillfully turned his body from a chest trap and scored the equalizing goal with his right foot.
The first half ends in a 1-1 tie.
