○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
On a sunny day, the Prince Takamado Trophy U-18 Soccer League 2017 Premier League EAST Sec. 16 was held at the Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multi-Purpose Ground.
Yokohama F. Marinos Youth faced defeat in Sec. 7 against their opponent. This match, which they desperately need points to get closer to the championship, kicked off at 15:00.
Coach Sato conveyed to the players, "Let's put everything we've done so far into the remaining matches and aim to earn points."
[First Half]
Tokyo's forwards, centered around Haru and Yoshida, show movements aiming behind the opponent's defensive line from the start.
The first big chance came in the 2nd minute, when Sugiyama, holding the ball deep in midfield, sent a superb pass to Hara, who broke behind the opponent's DF line.
Hara took a one-touch loop shot over the head of the opposing goalkeeper who had come out, but it just barely went over the goal.
However, Tokyo struggled to find their rhythm and lost a pass in their own half in the 9th minute, allowing the opponent to score with a dribble shot, conceding the first goal.
After that, despite facing several crises due to our own careless mistakes and enduring a difficult period, Tokyo gradually found their pace and began to approach the opponent's goal.
The equalizer came in the 39th minute when Yokoyama took a sharp and fast corner kick that went to the near side.
Yoshida, who ran in there, brilliantly headed the ball into the opposite side of the goal, equalizing the score.
Tokyo continued to show momentum and was able to finish the first half in good shape.
【Halftime】
Coach Sato
"The match starts here. Let's build the game properly in the next 45 minutes."
【Second Half】
Tokyo, with Kobayashi (Sato) and Takahashi replacing Hara and Terayama at halftime, launched a fierce attack right from the start, maintaining the momentum they had at the end of the first half.
In the 52nd minute, Sugiyama, who had drifted to the right side, delivered an accurate pass to Yoshida in front of the goal.
Yoshida, who skillfully controlled the ball with his chest, powerfully struck it to the left of the goal with his right foot, turning the score around to 2-1.
In the 61st minute, Kobayashi (Sato), who had entered as a forward in the second half and was active, picked up the ball from Arakawa, who won the header near the center of the pitch, and brought it to the front of the goal.
Despite being surrounded by opponents at the end, he took a well-timed shot with his right foot and scored, making it 3-1.
Tokyo, who extended their lead, continues to send in substitutes such as Aoki and Haga, who are making their debut in the Premier League with U-15 Fukagawa, and Kashif BANGNAGANDE, maintaining their dominance.
The team united until the end to secure 3 points and connect to the next match.
