○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
In the clear sky, the 16th round of the 2017 Prince Takamado Cup U-18 Football League Premier League EAST was held at the Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multipurpose Ground.
Yokohama F. Marinos Youth lost to their opponent in Sec. 7. The match, which they desperately needed to gain points to get closer to the championship, kicked off at 3 PM.
Manager Sato tells the players, "Let's put everything we've done so far and go for the remaining points in the game."
【First Half】
Tokyo showed a movement of the front line players, centered around FW Hara and Yoshida, aiming for the back of the opponent's DF line from the start.
The first big chance came in the 2nd minute, when Sugiyama, who had the ball in a deep midfield position, sent a perfect pass to Hara, who had escaped behind the opponent's DF line.
Hara's looping shot skimmed over the head of the opposing GK who had come out, but it narrowly missed the top of the goal as it was hit with a one-touch.
However, Tokyo, who couldn't quite find their rhythm from there, had their pass stolen by the opponent in their own zone in the 9th minute and conceded a dribble shot, falling behind.
Tokyo gradually gained momentum and continued to approach the opponent's goal, despite facing some difficult moments due to their own careless mistakes.
The equalizer came in the 39th minute, as Yoko Yamashita kicked a sharp and fast ball to the near side, taking advantage of a left corner kick opportunity.
Yoshida, who ran in there, beautifully headed the ball into the opposite side of the goal, equalizing the score.
Tokyo, which continued to have momentum, was able to end the first half in a good shape.
【Halftime】
Coach Sato
"The game starts now. Let's build our game in the next 45 minutes."
【Second Half】
At halftime, Tokyo made substitutions, with Haru and Terayama being replaced by Kobayashi (Sato) and Takahashi. They maintained their momentum from the end of the first half and launched a fierce attack from the start.
52 minutes, Sugiyama on the right side, accurately passes to Yoshida in front of the goal.
Yoshida, who skillfully controlled this ball with his chest, powerfully stabbed it to the left of the goal with his right foot, reversing the score to 2-1.
In the 61st minute, Kobayashi (Sato), who had been active since the second half, entered as a FW and picked up the ball won by Arakawa with a header near the center of the pitch, and carried it to the front of the goal.
He shoots with his right foot at the perfect timing while being surrounded by the opponent and scores a goal, making it 3-1.
Tokyo, who widened their lead, did not give up their lead by sending in substitute players one after another, including Aoki and Haga BANGNAGANDE, who made their first appearance in the Premier League as a member of U-15 Fukagawa.
We worked together as a team until the end and took 3 points, connecting to the next game.
Thank you very much for your warm support to the players today.
We kindly ask for your continued support and warm cheers for FC Tokyo U-18.
