○Match Report
【Challenge to the next stage】
"Today is a battle of the heart. Let's enjoy it!"
Coach Sato gave a kind word to the players just before the game.
The final round of the 2017 Prince Takamado Trophy U-18 Football League Premier League EAST is finally here.
In the 18th round, which became a match between teams that still have a chance of winning the championship, depending on the results of Shimizu S-Pulse Youth (currently in first place) playing at a different venue in the 17th round, FC Tokyo U-18 (2nd place) and Aomori Yamada High School (3rd place) faced each other directly.
Manager Sato conveyed in the pre-match meeting, "The culmination of the 2017 season. Let's create a new history! Now is the time to show the spirit of FC Tokyo U-18!" And at the end, he threw these words to the players and sent them off to the pitch.

【First Half】
The match, which started with Aomori Yamada's kickoff, is characterized by intense battles for the ball from the beginning, showing the determination of both teams' players for this game.
Tokyo takes control of the game by moving the ball through the center with double midfielders, Shinaida and Kobayashi.
Against this, Aomori Yamada forms a compact formation in their own half and threatens the Tokyo goal with counterattacks using long balls, as well as set plays and long throws.
In the 3rd and 4th minutes, Yoshida takes a shot and Aomori Yamada also threatens the Tokyo goal from a corner kick in the 8th minute.
After that, Tokyo continued to attack from both sides, and Aomori Yamada countered, and the game continued until the 28th minute.
When the ball is taken away near the opponent's PA, we receive a counterattack from the left side.
If the side is broken through and a cross is put in front of the goal, it will be slid in and not met.
At 27 minutes, the opponent GK catches a back pass from their teammate and earns an indirect free kick inside the penalty area to survive this pinch.
Kobayashi aims for a trick play against the Aomori Yamada players lined up in front of the goal, but the opponent clears it on the goal line and it becomes a left corner kick.
Hineta directly hits this CK to the far post and steals the opening goal.
Tokyo, who is on a roll, had Sugiyama's counterattack from a dribble in the 34th minute.
At 36 minutes, a quick tempo ball was connected on the right side, and a direct pass from Yoshida to Hara was connected, and finally Sugiyama broke free and aimed directly to the right of the frame.
In addition, immediately after, at the 37th minute, Kobayashi volleys from Fukano's cross on the right side.
At 42 minutes, Haru passed a long pass to Yoshida with a header, and returned to Haru who had run out to the right side, but the shot was saved by the opponent's goalkeeper.
Despite taking the lead, we head into halftime feeling frustrated that we couldn't score any additional points.

【Halftime】
Coach Sato: "The opponent will definitely not end like this. It's not bad to be winning 1-0, but let's score the next 2 points."
"All players, including those on the reserve team, must give their all."

【Second Half】
Both teams start the second half without making any player substitutions. Aomori Yamada begins to press from the front line, leading to an intense exchange of attacks and defenses.
At 50 minutes, despite receiving a counter from the opponent, Takase made a great defense in the end.
Tokyo's Fushino intercepted the ball near the center line in the 52nd minute and dribbled up to take a shot, but it was saved by the GK.
The long-awaited second goal came in the 57th minute, as Kobayashi passed the ball to Yamanaka on the right side from their own half on a counter attack.
Yokoyama dodges the opposing player and when he sees the opponent who came to cover him momentarily create distance, he uses his left foot to score near side, making it 2-0.
In addition, Tokyo continues to create chances from the right side with Fubino, but they continue to aim for the goal in the 75th minute.
When the right side is dribbled through, the opponent's shot hits the DF and is sucked into the goal.
Then Kubo broke the opponent's counterattack mood.
Kubo hands the ball to Yokoyama in the midfield and starts running towards the goal in the 77th minute after conceding a goal.
Yokoyama, who received the ball, dribbled up the right sideline and drew in the opponent. He then passed it back to Kubo, who ran on the inside.
Kubo swings his right foot from a one-on-one inside the right PA, passing through the opponent's legs and smashing it into the far side for a 3-1 lead.
Aomori Yamada, who never gives up, diverted a long ball from DF with a header at the 85th minute, calmly guiding the ball that fell behind the DF line into the goal, making it 3-2.
After that, Tokyo, who continued to receive fierce attacks, spent a long time in their own half, but defended their goal with the captain's armband-wearing Shinohara and the Hasegawa brothers at the forefront, putting their bodies on the line.
Coach Sato on the bench encourages the players on the pitch with a loud voice during the display of 3 minutes of additional time.
Tokyo's defense, which never lost its concentration until the end, held on and the final whistle blew.

And then, the venue falls silent as they anxiously await the results from other venues.
After a few seconds of silence, when we heard the results from other venues, a circle of joy spread across the field.

FC Tokyo U-18's first ever "Prince Takamado Trophy U-18 Soccer League 2017 Premier League EAST" [Champions].
And they have secured their spot in the 2017 Prince Takamado Trophy U-18 Football League Championship.
