○Match Report
【Challenge to the Unknown! Overcome Your Limits!】
The first match of the 2018 season, the 29th Tokyo Club Youth U-17 Soccer Championship, will be held at home at 'Fukagawa Grand'.
"Instead of focusing on consecutive championships, let's concentrate on each match in front of us. Our unity is our weapon. We will fight together, and each of us should actively challenge ourselves. Set pieces will be important." said Coach Sato to the players.
The match, which welcomed many fans and supporters, started at 14:00.
<First Half>
From the start, Tokyo entered the opponent's territory and approached the goal from a set piece that Coach Sato emphasized was important.
After approaching the opponent's goal from a corner kick in the 1st and 3rd minutes, in the 5th minute, Haga was fouled and took the free kick himself, sending a low ball in front of the goal.
In this tight contest, Imamura pushes through to score the season's first goal.
Tokyo continued to completely dominate the match and launched various attacks from the center and both sides to secure additional goals, repeatedly penetrating the opponent's penalty area, but the goal remained elusive.
In the 10th minute, Suzuki and Banguna aggressively attacked down the left side, and in the end, Suzuki delivered a cross from near the goal line, but it was just slightly off target.
In the 24th minute, it was Imamura who initiated the attack from the right side, creating a play deep on the right before passing back to Kobayashi, who then dribbled vertically and delivered a cross from near the goal line, but it was cleared.
Tokyo continued to attack, with Yokota diving in from a cross by Banguna in the 26th minute and from Morita in the 30th minute, but could not hit the target.
The long-awaited additional goal came in the 33rd minute, when Yokota broke free from a long pass by defender Takahashi and entered the left penalty area.
Attracting the opponent's DF and GK, a final pass in front of the goal. Haga slides it into the unguarded goal, making it 2-0.
Extend the lead to 2 points and turn around for the second half
<Half Time>
Coach Sato
"Let's make quick decisions one by one. Everyone is trying actively, so let's continue. Let's score more and definitely win."
<Second Half>
Tokyo made a change by bringing in Kubo for Suzuki, and continued to dominate possession of the ball throughout the second half.
In the 48th minute, Imamura broke free from a pass by Kubo and took a shot while facing the opponent one-on-one, but the opposing defender blocked it.
In the 55th minute, a chance for an additional goal arose when Haga was fouled near the right corner, resulting in a free kick sent to the far side.
Here, Kimura jumps in and heads the ball, but it just misses to the right of the goal.
In the 59th minute, Nakaya and Numata were sent onto the pitch in place of Yokota and Imamura to change the tempo.
Then, in the 60th minute, Banguna made a big switch to Morita on the right side, connecting passes intricately in the center.
In the end, a switch from Kubo to Terayama in front of the goal resulted in a shot from distance, but it was blocked by the DF.
The third goal was scored in the 70th minute when Kobayashi forcefully broke through a challenge from the opponent and calmly shook the net for an additional point.
After that, players on the bench were sent out one after another until the 85th minute.
Kane, who was on the left side, crosses from near the goal line.
Nakatani takes a decisive shot at the loose ball while free, but it goes straight to the GK, resulting in a left corner kick.
The kicker sent a sharp ball to the near post, but it was cleared by the opponent.
There were moments of concern from counters and our own mistakes, but we finished the match without conceding a goal.
Started the 2018 season with a 3-0 victory.
