○Match Report
[Challenge to the Unknown! Go Beyond Your Limits!]
The 2nd match of the 19th Tokyo Club Youth U-17 Soccer Championship of the 29th Heisei year, held at "Fukagawa Ground", was against Tokyo Musashino City Football Club U-18.
Tokyo, who wants to secure a spot in the final round with two consecutive wins, also has three qualifying league matches.
Before the match, Coach Sato tells the players, "There is no such thing as an easy game. Instead of trying to play for 90 minutes, let's give it our all from the beginning." The match started with Musashino's kickoff, with a light layer of snow remaining at the edge of the field.
<First Half>
Musashino-En took control of the game.
Struggling with aggressive and sharp pressing from the front line, they are having a hard time getting the ball into the opponent's half.
Unable to receive the ball due to intense pressure, a long ball is sent from the DF line to the front line in order to avoid the opponent's press.
In addition, they were often behind in the second ball battle, making it difficult to grasp the rhythm and resulting in an unsettled development.
Tokyo was the one who created the first chance, nonetheless.
6 minutes, as Kobayashi competes with the opposing DF from the DF line, he enters to the right of the PA and puts a negative cross to the near side.
Terayama jumps here, but misses. Morita follows up on the ball, but it is cleared by the opponent.
On the other hand, at the 18th minute, Musashino-En kept giving away corner kicks, and at the 20th minute, they were directly targeted with a free kick from the front of the goal, but Iizuka calmly caught it.
44 minutes into the game, we gradually gained control of the second ball and began to attack the left side without losing our focus.
Kobayashi is fouled near the left corner kick and earns a free kick, which Haga kicks low to the near side.
Kusasumi manages to score a goal with a volley, despite losing balance, and the first half ends with a score of 1-0.
Half Time
Coach Sato
"We should continue because everyone is actively communicating. Let's increase our tempo while maintaining our quality."
<Second Half>
Substituting Morita for Tsuno. Tokyo takes control in the second half by slightly changing positions.
The start of the game saw Musashino-En being pressured to score, but gradually, substitute Tsuno made a run behind the opponent's DF line and received the ball.
In addition, Kobayashi, who dropped back in the midfield, created a rhythm by carrying the ball forward and Yokoeda scored in the 53rd minute.
In the 58th minute, the corner takes a shot, but is unable to score an additional point due to the opponent's GK's good defense.
Tokyo, who does not let up their attack, further advances in the 62nd minute as Yokota dribbles vertically on the right side and passes to Kobayashi who runs into the right penalty area.
When this sharp ball is kicked near the goal, Imamura jumps in but the opponent touches it slightly earlier. Terayama aims for this second ball but the GK saves it.
Then, they score an additional point in the 66th minute.
Yokota dribbles vertically on the right side and kicks a ball with an early cross style. The ball is sucked into the goal as it is, making it 2-0.
In the 68th minute, Kaku, who had run behind the opponent's DF line, won the battle against the oncoming GK and kicked the ball into the unguarded goal, making it 3-0 despite losing his balance.
Celebrating his official debut with a goal at FC Tokyo.
After that, Tokyo continued to send substitute players onto the pitch one after another, not giving the opponent the upper hand and finishing the game.
Won two consecutive league matches and heading into the third match.
