FC Tokyo's Basic Philosophy

We aim to systematically promote the realization of the following理念 through a cooperative system of local communities, government, and businesses, with a long-term perspective to create a true 'community-oriented J-League club for the citizens.'

  • Contribute to the healthy development of the youth's mind and body through soccer, promote the health and joy of the citizens, foster sports culture, and ultimately contribute to the development of the local community and international exchange and friendship.
  • In the future, we aim to create a club that contributes to the local community in both competitive sports and recreation, including sports other than soccer, with a focus on "lifetime sports." This will be based on the organization of J-League clubs and will be realized through its development and expansion.
  • To cultivate a soccer team that symbolizes the citizens of Tokyo and gives dreams to the youth, to create many fans among the citizens, and to contribute to the fostering of a sense of solidarity among the citizens (awareness of belonging to the community) and the revitalization of the local community.
  • Focusing on soccer clinics, soccer schools, and various events, we aim to collaborate and cooperate with soccer activities in schools and local communities, striving to provide guidance and promote soccer to youth and all citizens of Tokyo.
