In the J.League, we manage and protect the trademark rights and copyrights related to the J.League logo, emblem, flag, mascot, etc., as well as the copyrights and neighboring rights concerning videos (footage) and still images from official matches and events, and the portrait rights of players, coaches, and staff related to official matches and events. We have established the 'J.League Portrait Rights, Copyrights, and Trademark Usage Regulations' for effective utilization. Additionally, FC Tokyo has its own regulations regarding the use of portraits, logos, etc., beyond those managed by the J.League, as outlined below. We kindly ask you to familiarize yourself with these regulations and cooperate in adhering to the rules.

●Portraits, designs, trademarks, and others managed by FC Tokyo

  1. Portraits of players, coaches, and managers in practice matches, practice scenes, community events, event scenes related to matches, and interview scenes.
  2. Club logo, emblem, flag, mascot.
  3. Portraits, animations, names, voices, signatures, uniforms, etc. of players, coaches, and staff.

Prohibited Items

◇Video Usage
The following uses are strictly prohibited.

  • The use of video on the internet (including the use of still images from the video) is strictly prohibited for media organizations, public institutions, individuals, and others. The use of audio only is also prohibited.
  • Individuals are prohibited from publicly broadcasting recorded videos, such as those recorded on video, without permission, other than for their own enjoyment.
  • The use of images in any media for the purpose of defaming or slandering individuals or organizations involved in soccer or the J-League is prohibited.

◇Still Images
The following uses are strictly prohibited.

  • Use of portraits in self-published works, as well as in internet activities conducted voluntarily by individuals or groups.
  • Use of portraits in the case of internet services providing paid information through billing.
  • Use of portraits on the internet for profit by companies, voluntary organizations, etc.
  • Use of likeness in content different from 'sports reporting' by media organizations on the internet.
  • Use of likeness in any media for the purpose of defaming or slandering individuals or organizations involved in soccer and the J-League.

◇Design, Trademark, etc.

  • Self-published works, as well as usage in internet activities conducted voluntarily by individuals or groups.
  • Provision of paid information through billing for use on the internet.
  • Use on the internet for profit by companies, voluntary organizations, etc.
  • As noted in "Use of Media (Secondary)", the content used by media organizations on the internet differs from that of "sports reporting".
  • Use in illustrations and other designs.
  • Use of designs and trademarks in any media for the purpose of defaming or slandering individuals or organizations involved in soccer and the J-League.
