Q What are your thoughts on the camp so far?
A, I also participated in the camp last year, but since it is quite rare to leave Tokyo for such a long period to train, I am really enjoying it now.
Q: Does participating in the camp as a professional player feel different?
A, the way we are perceived also changes, so I think we who became professionals this year must work hard not to lose. It is frustrating and absolutely unacceptable if the quality of the team drops because of us joining, so the determination and responsibility in that regard feel different from when I was in U-18.
Q: What do you feel when actually playing the football style of Coach Albert PUIG ORTONEDA?
A, I have never experienced such detailed calculations and meetings. I feel that this is the world of professionals, and there is so much to learn, so right now my main focus is to embody the coach's style of football.
Q: After experiencing last year's camp, do you feel more relaxed mentally for this year's camp?
A, on the contrary, I have less leeway this year. Last year, I participated in practice as part of the U-18 team, but this year the situation and the style of soccer I am playing are different, so I feel I have less leeway this year.
Q, is that regarding the position of participating as a professional that you mentioned earlier?
A, that's right. I always have the awareness that I must have the consciousness and determination as a professional.
Q: I often hear players say that they feel 'mentally exhausted.'
A. Since there are many things to think about, even a slight delay in decision-making can disrupt the flow. We have to adapt ourselves to the style of soccer the coach envisions, so we must always keep our minds working at full speed.
Q: The camp has reached its halfway point. Do you have any goals from here on?
A, I will work harder to promote myself more and strive to make an impact regardless of being in my first year.
