The first training camp has officially started today in Kunigami Village, Okinawa Prefecture, surrounded by a warm climate.
The team traveled from Tokyo to Okinawa yesterday. Considering the fatigue from the long-distance travel, they adjusted their condition with recovery training. On the second day, after a night’s rest, they conducted two training sessions in preparation for the opening of the 2024 season.
In the morning training session, we conducted a total of about 90 minutes of passing control, possession, and match-form training. The players adjusted their own conditions while simultaneously confirming their teamwork as a team.In the afternoon, training was conducted privately for the public. The team deepened their common understanding of tactics and the fundamental way of playing.
Also, since it was the first day of practice on the field, many fans and supporters, including local residents, came to observe the practice.
The camp has just begun, but from here we will enhance intensity and precision among the players, making the Okinawa Kunigami camp a fruitful time.

Q: The Okinawa Kunigami camp started today.
A, we have just finished the first day, and I am looking forward to the camp life from here. Since there are new players who have joined, as a player, I am very excited about how we will build the team, but at the same time, I also feel a sense of urgency. This season, I am determined to achieve results both individually and as a team.
Q. Do you have any personal goals for this season's camp?
First of all, I am focused on completing the camp without getting injured, but more than last season, I am pushing myself harder and focusing on building my body. I want to gain a lot from the training.
Q. The new season has officially started. What points are important for the team to power up once again?
A, I believe Tokyo has various players this season, including those who can score goals and create chances. As a team, we want to clarify our attacking style at a high level. We aim to clearly express our intentions and characteristics, and focus on demonstrating precise and consistent play in actual matches.
Q: Earlier, the word "determination" was mentioned. How does the team perceive this camp as a period?
A. In attack, it is necessary for the team to have a clear and shared understanding of which area to target. By doing so, we believe the attack can develop automatically, and it is also important to increase the number of repetitions during practice. Regarding defense, it depends on whether everyone can have a sense of sacrifice for the team in how to defend and how to win the ball back. Each player should focus on their specific responsibilities while balancing support from the entire team as we play.
