Q. Please tell us the background behind your decision to join at this timing.
A, first of all, I am happy to have joined this club. I decided to join in a very short time after receiving the offer. Since it was an offer from Tokyo, which I thought was a big team in the J1 league, I made an immediate decision without any hesitation.
Q. When did you receive an official offer from Tokyo?
A, the deal was finalized on August 20th in a last-minute rush. The time limit for making the decision was extremely short. I officially accepted the offer I received and headed to Tokyo in the evening. Without much time to pack leisurely, I boarded the plane carrying only my essential gear—spikes and two or three sets of clothes (laughs). It was a hectic day, but I believe this decision was absolutely the right one. My family was also very happy.
Q. What impression do you have of the team called Tokyo or the city itself?
I have never played against them in the J.League myself, and I am not very familiar with it, but when I received the offer, I heard about the team's scale, the cityscape of Tokyo, and the passion of the fans and supporters, and without any hesitation, I decided to play in Tokyo.

Q, you immediately participated in the training.
A entered Tokyo yesterday and started training from today. I wanted to join the full team practice as soon as possible, and by playing together in training, I hoped to deepen communication quickly. In today's practice, I feel I was able to show my teammates the best of my play, and it was a day with many very positive aspects.
Q. Please tell us your strengths.
A, I want you to watch the play with speed. Of course, the speed of advancing during attacks, but also the speed of pressing back and switching during defense.
Q. You have experienced difficult times in the past two months when you couldn't participate in matches. What kind of mindset did you maintain during those days?
There was a time when I was able to participate in matches and contribute to the team, but midway through this season, the coach was replaced, my playing time decreased, and I experienced days when I couldn't even travel with the match squad. Especially in the past two months, it has been a very tough situation, but regardless of whether I play or not, I have always thought about ways to contribute to the team, hoping that my positive actions and encouragement would be a plus for the team.

Q. It seems like you have accumulated a considerable amount of energy for your debut in Tokyo.
A, of course. I also have the frustration of not being able to participate. I want to play as soon as possible and make the most of the opportunity I have been given. And I want to contribute to the team through my play and results so that everyone involved with the club recognizes me.
Q, fans and supporters in Tokyo are also looking forward to watching player Marcos Guilherme's play.
A, I want you to see me running hard and contributing to the team with plays that make the most of my speed. I don't know the details, but I have heard that many Brazilian players have played as symbols of the team here in Tokyo. I want to fight passionately to make my name among them as well.
First of all, I want to promise that I will always give 100% effort and fight through to the end. The reason we fight is for the team's victory, and above all, for the fans and supporters. I will fight tirelessly to bring victory closer.
