Q, the opening is finally here. When you were at the Okinawa camp, you mentioned that you were enjoying the current soccer. Are you still able to move forward with excitement as the opening approaches?
A, I think we will continue to grow by playing more games, and I feel that we are experiencing various irregular things and growing day by day. While playing, there will definitely be challenges, so I think it is important to cherish each game and do our best.
Q, Can the team discuss adjustments when things don't go well during the 90 minutes?
A lot of experienced players are also present. The final decision must be made by the 11 players on the pitch with confidence, and it will not work without the parts that the coach demands and individual ideas. I think it is important to do that well and have fun while doing it.
Q, it will also be exciting to face Kawasaki Frontale in the opening match.
A, Kawasaki Frontale is a team that has a well-established tactic and has won the league twice, so I want to face challenges and grow as a challenger.
Q, How do you approach positional play?
A, the coach who wants to cherish the ball, so if you don't take the right position while looking at the situation and time, you won't be able to pass the ball. So, while thinking about it well, you have to think not only about the position you want to receive, but also about the balance of the whole team. I want to do it while looking at the balance of the surroundings so that it functions well.
Q, do you think the final finish will require some creative ideas?
A, while taking care of the ball, there are times when you have to push forward and finish. I want to be able to position myself well while building up in a way that allows me to enter the attacking zone.
