On the 8th day of camp, it was rainy and chilly. Practice was held only in the morning.
Despite it being a weekday, many spectators came to watch. With so many people watching, the players are more focused during practice.
Among them, the children from Kunigami Kindergarten each made a flag of Tokyo and brought it to cheer for the players.
After step training, we will perform acceleration runs, passing drills, and positional games with the goalkeeper included. We will train in situations that more closely simulate actual matches.
In the end, the players were divided by area, using the pitch widely to conduct drills of 4 vs 4, 3 vs 3 plus 1 free man, and 6 vs 6.

Tomorrow is the second practice match since coming to the Okinawa camp.
It will be a good opportunity for each player to test the sense of achievement and challenges they felt in the first match.
Through the interviews conducted at this camp, I often heard the players say, "Winning the league title." Each day becomes extremely important in order to achieve the long-desired title for Tokyo, and you can feel that from the attitude of the players as they engage in practice.
On the 8th day of camp, we conducted an interview with Diego OLIVEIRA, who has been appointed as captain.
Q: You have been appointed captain again this season. How do you feel about that?
A, of course, I am happy to be appointed as captain. I have been in Tokyo for a long time, so I want to contribute to the team with an even greater sense of responsibility.
Q: It is the 8th day of the camp, how is your condition?
As each day passes, my condition is improving, and unfortunately, I was sidelined last season due to an injury and was undergoing rehabilitation. However, I believe my condition has improved, so I think I will be able to play in even better shape for the opening match.
Q: There was the first practice match the other day, and there is another practice match tomorrow. How is the coordination with the other players and the overall preparation?
I believe that as the days go by, our combinations will improve. There are many new players joining, but I want to practice and play in a way that allows us to build good connections with those players as well.
Q: I believe Diego TABA will play an important role this season as well.
A, I was unable to contribute much to the team last season due to injuries, which was disappointing. However, this season so far I have no injuries or pain, so I want to do my best to contribute even more compared to last year.
Q: New players have joined the team; what are your impressions? There is also Nakagawa in a nearby position.
A, of course, I was aware of Nakagawa's presence and I recognize that he is a very good player, so I am very happy that he has come to Tokyo, and I believe he will greatly contribute to the team.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
First and foremost, it is important to win each match. I want this season to be a good one. I believe that by winning, we will also get closer to our goals.
Q: What preparations are necessary for that?
During this time, intense training continues, but what we build here is important for fighting throughout the year. I believe that each individual should put their full effort into practice.
