Kanta DOI Interview
"Without rushing, move forward"

Q: I have returned from injury and it has been about 5 months since I returned to practice.
There were times during rehabilitation when I was alone. I am enjoying being able to practice together with everyone like this.

Q: I don't think I was able to start my professional life as I had hoped. Now that I have joined the practice, do you have any thoughts on this?
A, although I participated in training last season and had some involvement with the top team, I am gradually becoming aware of my role as a professional player.

Q: This season, Kota TAWARATSUMIDA and Naoki KUMATA, who were both promoted to the top team, have made their official match appearances. How do you perceive the current situation yourself, Dohi?
There is absolutely no impatience or anxiety.

Q: What differences do you feel in training and content compared to your time in the academy now that you have achieved promotion to the top team?
I feel a significant difference in the speed, intensity of play, and depth when changing direction (the placement of the ball).

Q: Could you tell us again about the characteristics of your play?
I am confident in both short and long passes as well as build-up play.

Q: What kind of training will you continue to undertake in order to participate in official matches in the future?
I believe that building my body is fundamental. I think it's rare to be overpowered by other players, but I want to develop a physique that can compete, especially against foreign players who have high physical abilities. I want to steadily build my stamina and other physical aspects through upcoming training.

Q: Please share your enthusiasm for the future.
A, the upcoming goal is to participate in the Levain Cup scheduled for May and June. From here, I will work hard to build my body and strive to participate in the J1 League during this season.

Q: There are many fans and supporters who have been cheering for you since your academy days. Finally, please give a message to everyone.
I got injured last November and have finally returned. I will do my best to show you my energetic play. Thank you for your support.
