Q, please tell us about the process and decision to join Tokyo.
A, it was a really difficult decision. The main reason for my decision was that the club clearly showed their vision. They explained to me how I can contribute to the team and what tasks I will be given in relation to the vision. I strongly believe that when the club achieves its vision, I will also achieve my own goals. At 29 years old, I feel that I do not have much time left as a player. It was a difficult decision, but I chose to fight as a member of Tokyo.
Q, What kind of conversation did you have with Coach Peter CKLAMOVSKI after practice?
A, We talked about reflecting on the meeting and the play that Coach Peter CKLAMOVSKI is looking for. We were told to express the intensity and play using our strengths.
Q, Please tell us your strengths (strong points).
Please pay attention to my sprinting ability and my ability to defend and attack against others. Especially when it comes to speed and sprinting, I do not want to lose. I believe that in order to survive as a professional soccer player, I need to have overwhelming weapons, and I want to demonstrate my existence through my sprinting ability and my ability to defend and attack against others.
Q, July 7th (Friday) was the first day of practice. Please tell us your thoughts and impressions after joining the team.
A, many really kind players, created an easy atmosphere to join the team.
Q: Do you have any teammates who have played together in the past?
In the first half of the season, I played with Seiji KIMURA at Kyoto Sanga F.C. and with Tsuyoshi KODAMA for about one and a half seasons at Ehime FC.
It seems like you started your career from JFL and have been steadily stepping up.
A, I have been playing as a J.League player for the past 10 years, but to be honest, I think I have spent more time struggling than succeeding. However, within that time, I have been able to overcome my challenges and weaknesses one by one, and at a good performance level, I received an offer from Tokyo. I believe that everything I have built up until now was not a mistake, and as it is my last chance age-wise, I want to bet my life and continue to compete.
Q, Please tell us your impression of Tokyo based on past matches and other factors.
A, the team used to have a strong impression of being based on solid defense and fast attacks, but in recent seasons, it seems to have shifted to possession-based soccer and taking control of the game. And the quality of all players is very high, and after Coach Klamovski took over, I received a strong impression that the team has become even more aggressive and running during matches.
Q, What would you like to be called by fans and supporters?
A, please with Kosuke.
Q, please give a message to the fans and supporters.
I want to contribute to the team's victory by fully utilizing my strengths and strengths such as sprint ability and interpersonal strength. Thank you for your support.
