In the away game against Yokohama FC, we wanted to carry the momentum from our consecutive wins in the 25th anniversary match into this match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Determined not to repeat past mistakes, the team returned home for the match against Hiroshima, aggressively pushing forward from the start and threatening the goal. While being more offensive left them vulnerable to counterattacks from Hiroshima, it was Taishi Brandon NOZAWA's courageous leaps and big saves that shone in those moments.

A, it is difficult to narrow it down to just one thing, but I feel that the team is experiencing continuous growth. I believe we are developing in all aspects, and I have a good relationship with Coach Matsuhashi. I think we are a team that will continue to move forward.
Q: This match, Teruhito NAKAGAWA and Henrique TREVISAN are suspended. What kind of match do you want against Niigata?
A, no matter the situation, I expect the players to deliver their best performance. We are never fighting alone; we must fight as a team, and the players on the pitch need to support each other. I believe that whoever takes the field will show a good performance and contribute to our victory.
Q, it seems that during the break, a lot of training focused on the offensive aspect was conducted.
A, this is one of the areas where we feel challenges in our way of fighting and playing. I believe the players have also clearly identified many aspects, and they are taking this awareness positively. Of course, we must not forget the defensive principles. I think continuity leads to evolution. There were players with whom I had individual discussions, and some players reviewed details through video. I hope this helps lead to good practice.
Q: As Coach Klamovski approaches the halfway point of the season, what are your thoughts on the team's development so far?
I believe that taking charge in the middle of the season is very difficult. Building a team is like constructing a house, where you gradually lay bricks to ultimately build a strong and sturdy home. There are times when you can feel growth quickly, and other times when it follows a slow growth curve. Since I took office in Tokyo, I have felt that we are developing in the right direction. I think it is necessary to focus on our play and bring results to this club, as well as to maintain high performance consistently in order to become stronger in the future. There are only three matches left this season. It is important to cultivate the habit of giving our all in daily training to enhance our performance and to show exciting matches for our fans and supporters, and I believe that through repeated challenges, we can achieve special moments.

Q, this is a match at DENKA BIG SWAN STADIUM for the first time since the 2017 season. Please share your thoughts about playing at a familiar venue.
I have been with Albirex Niigata for 4 seasons. Although I can play a match in Niigata after a long time, rather than looking forward to it just because the opponent is Niigata, I am focused on winning against the opponent in front of me as a player from Tokyo. There are only 3 matches left in the league, and I am thinking only about winning and returning to Tokyo together with everyone involved in Tokyo. Right now, I believe that winning is the most important thing.
Q: Please tell us your impression of Niigata, who has not lost in 6 league matches.
There are many young and energetic players, and I have the impression that they are playing good football and accumulating points. As I mentioned earlier, regardless of the opponent, I believe that every club will approach the remaining three matches with a strong determination and a focused fighting style, so we want to show a battle dedicated to victory.
Q, there was also a discussion about "regardless of the opponent," but what specific points are important?
I believe that it's about the detailed communication on the pitch and how united we can be for victory. I'm only thinking about returning from Niigata with a win, and especially in the remaining three matches, I am strongly seeking only 'victory' with great eagerness.
Q: You played as a defensive midfielder in the Yokohama FC match and as a full-back in the Sanfrecce Hiroshima match. What challenges did you see in each position?
A, I lost both matches and felt many challenges. It is a major point of reflection that I could not achieve results from the start of the match. There are many areas for improvement, but no matter what position I play, I want to show plays that help my teammates for the team's victory.

A, based on the previous match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima, we have been conscious of the "shape" of how to score during training.
Q: This match is against Albirex Niigata, who were in the 2018 and 19 seasons.
A, this is the first time we will compete against Albirex Niigata at DENKA BIG SWAN STADIUM in the J1 League, so I am really looking forward to it. We managed to win the home game in the first half of the league 2-1, but I want to do my best to score and secure a win away as well.
Q: Please tell us your impressions when you faced Niigata in the first half of the league.
We are a team that connects the ball and builds attacks, so as Tokyo, we want to maintain solid defense while effectively exploiting the weaknesses of the opposing defense. Just like in the first half of the league, we want to fight in a way that we are not being passed around, but rather making them 'pass' through coordinated defense.

A, I believe that regardless of which position I play, what is required of me in terms of offense does not change, and there is no significant change in my mindset.
