2024 CAMP REPORT & INTERVIEW
vol.2 Jája Silva

Today's Kunigami Village is unfortunately cloudy. Occasionally, strong winds blow, but we continued to work hard in our two training sessions today.

"In order to establish our football, we want to pay attention to the details and build it up steadily. We want to enhance our physical aspects and the precision of our play during this camp," commented coach Peter CKLAMOVSKI after practice. In the morning practice, the players were divided into groups to conduct strength training aimed at enhancing their physical abilities.

In the breakdowns before the goal and possession training, many players were involved with the ball with fewer touches to confirm the details of the attacking phase, enhancing awareness of building attacks and providing support.

This afternoon's practice, following yesterday, was closed to the public and focused on tactical drills. The entire team shared their attacking objectives.

After practice, we conducted an interview with number 70, Jája Silva.

Q: This is the first camp for player Jaja, who joined midway through last season, since joining Tokyo. How do you feel about your condition and overall experience?
I am grateful to be able to train in a very good environment. This is my first camp in Japan, and I feel very good about it. I am able to practice in good condition.

Q: In the practice in a match format, there were many instances where the players' good condition was evident in their performance.
A, for this campI have been preparing in my own way to approach it in good condition. I also have a feeling that I can improve further from here, and I want to consistently showcase good plays through training.

Q: Do you have any personal goals or areas you want to improve during this camp?
As a team and as individuals, we want to face the rigorous training during the camp period seriously. We are conscious of improving our condition and teamwork to be in the best shape by the opening match of the J1 League.

Q: I don't think last season was the kind of season that Jaja envisioned after joining. Please tell us again your thoughts and hopes for this season.
A, I joined the team midway through last season, so it took time to adapt, and I struggled. I spent a lot of time, but my relationships with my teammates deepened, and my understanding of Japanese football has also improved. This season, I am focused solely on contributing to the team's victories with visible results.
