I think it was a tough match against a good opponent. From a football perspective, we were able to play a good game. I believe our players worked hard and deserved the victory. In the first half, we lacked a bit of sharpness. While the performance was okay, there were parts where we could have done a bit more. We didn't have enough threat in front of the goal against the opponent. We thoroughly reviewed the details during halftime, and I think the players expressed themselves well in the second half. First of all, I believe it is important to continue our football philosophy. When building a team or something, we must move forward straight. While developing our football, the players have dedicated themselves to our football and their teammates with conviction.
Q: What do you think were the factors that led to your victory over Kashima?
Against a strong opponent like Kashima, the team was able to deliver a very strong performance. We respect our opponents, and it was truly a tough match, but today we were able to perform in a way that deserved a clean sheet and a victory. This is the result of our dedicated commitment to defensive principles on the field. I believe that by practicing our defensive shape and principles effectively, we reduced the opponent's chances. A match against Verdy is one of the special matches. I believe it is a special match for the players, the club, and the fans and supporters. There are various emotions, and I think it creates a special atmosphere. I believe anything can happen in a derby, so we will prepare for that. Right now, our strength is that we have been able to build a foundation for football. We will prepare while following our process and maintaining discipline.

Q, you played in a different position than usual. Please review the game.
I believe that regardless of the position I play in a match, embodying what the team wants to do and what we should do is what being a football player is about. Additionally, I was conscious of making runs behind the defense to showcase my strengths.
Q: There were many defensive scenes that seemed to switch the entire team on.
A, I have been observing the position that Ryotaro ARAKI always plays, looking at the previous matches to find out how to defend selflessly, how to pursue, and how to make it easier for teammates. There were times when I was able to apply pressure effectively and guide the play so that they couldn't pass freely, and times when I wasn't. From the first half, I shared the target areas with Kuryu MATSUKI and worked on improvements.
Q: I think the team has been able to play with momentum in the last two matches.
After losing to Kawasaki Frontale, we held a meeting with just the players. I believe that has had a positive effect, and by having a common understanding of continuing this soccer style, we are gradually seeing results. I think it is important to continue doing this. A, Matsuki brought the ball forward well with Kashif BANGNAGANDE, and since Matsuki was looking at me, I believed the pass would come. When the pass was made, I was focused on touching the ball first. I just had to match Matsuki's ball, so I want to express my gratitude. Surprisingly, I am good at heading, so I think that showed in the results.

Q: What were you aware of when you entered the pitch during the substitution in the second half?
A, since it had become a somewhat open game, I focused on defense as I entered. Even when we were pushed back, I felt we managed it well while keeping our composure, and I think it's good that we have been able to unify our approach over the last few matches.
Q: That was a nice shot. How do you feel when you look back at that scene?
A, after a long time, I received a pass near the penalty area and I think that was the moment to show my quality, and Kuryu MATSUKI skillfully set it up for me. I was torn between aiming for the opponent's legs or the near post, but given the position of the ball, the opponent's legs weren't very spread, so I aimed for the near post and managed to score successfully.

A, I believe that the previous flow does not matter, and the players need to enter with a different mindset than usual. We want to win the next match firmly and move forward. I think all the fans and supporters associate Tokyo with 'FC Tokyo', so we want to prepare well as a team to show that through our results.

I believe that the two assists I made were thanks to my teammates, starting with the player who scored the goal. Although Ryotaro ARAKI was unable to participate today, the team has been able to achieve victory regardless of who is on the field, and I think we are growing into a competitive and high-quality team. I believe that the way the entire team supports each other is what leads to our victories.
Q: I achieved 1 goal and 2 assists in the two consecutive matches at the Japan National Stadium.
A, this season I am more conscious of the numbers. I have also increased the number of times I play in a position further forward than last season, and I was able to reaffirm during the two consecutive matches held at the Japan National Stadium that if I become the starting point for attacks in the front line, it can lead to goals. I want to continue to aim for goals and assists with ambition. In today's match, I was also aiming for a goal, but I prioritized playing for the team's victory first.
