Q: You mentioned that it takes time to get used to your personality, but how has it been spending time at camp?
A, little by little, I have been getting more opportunities to talk with the players, and I think I am starting to blend in with the team, including during meals.
Q, I think it's a bright team, so I don't think it was that difficult.
A, that's right. Everyone is nice, and since there are many young players, I have the impression that it is a very lively team.
Q: It seems that the practice is progressing at a fast pace, what do you think?
A, we are doing it very compactly, and it's easy to transition to the next practice quickly. I think we are able to have good practice because we can maintain high intensity even in a short amount of time.
Q: Are there any characteristics of Coach Albert's training?
When it's time to do it, I switch on and off impressively. I value the ball, so I feel that I can grow as a person.
Q: How do you feel about playing with player Morishige?
I have been practicing with player Morishige for about a week now, and I have once again realized that the level is high. There is so much to absorb, so I look forward to each day's practice and I want to continue learning from now on.
Q: How was the feeling of the training match?
A, the condition is tough, so there are still many areas for improvement, but what we have been working on in practice this past week is being reflected both individually and as a team, so I want to continue doing this.
Q: Is there any guidance from Coach Albert PUIG ORTONEDA on how to spend time outside of practice?
A, there are no restrictions outside of practice. I act based on my own thoughts and take good care of my body.
Q: How has the progress and response been so far?
A, there is an impression that we are aiming for very attractive soccer. We were able to show good aspects even in practice matches, and I feel very confident.
Q: Based on your experience at Cerezo Osaka, what do you think is important when it comes to positional play?
A, it is necessary to always consider the opponent's positioning and how they apply pressure. In that sense, it is very important to understand the distance and positioning relative to others, even when the ball is not in play. Therefore, I focus on practicing and being aware of these aspects during training and matches.
Q: Is your experience at Cerezo Osaka beneficial?
During the two years under Coach LOTINA, I learned a lot about positioning and connecting the ball carefully at my feet, so in that sense, it is beneficial. There are also differences compared to Coach Albert PUIG ORTONEDA, which adds to the difficulty.
Q: Coach Albert PUIG ORTONEDA gives a more offensive impression.
I think that going to win the ball from the front in defense is a different aspect, and I feel a bit of difficulty with the height of the defensive line at that time and the challenge & cover.
Q: There was a statement about wanting to compete as a center-back.
A, I am mostly allowed to play from the back. I plan to play in the position the coach gives me, but for now, since I am playing from the back, I want to showcase my characteristics.
Q: I think Coach Albert is giving detailed instructions on how to receive the ball and body positioning.
I have been aware of the importance of body orientation and always being aware of my surroundings while playing since long ago, so I don't find it particularly difficult, but I do feel the significance of those foundational aspects again.
Q: In order to build up from the final line, passing from the center backs is required. Please tell us what you pay attention to in this regard.
I think that as a center-back, the time spent on the ball will increase, so it's important to determine whether we should move the ball quickly or if I should hold the ball and advance while creating time.
Q: I feel a respect for player Morishige, but on the other hand, in what ways do you want to surpass player Morishige?
I believe that it is not a wall that can be easily surpassed, but I think I need to perform even better than Morishige in terms of my characteristic foot skills.
