Okinawa Camp Report DAY15

1/26 Training

On the second day of the Okinawa-Itoman camp, recovery training was conducted at the lodging. The players stretched and loosened their bodies in the pool at the lodging, taking time for care.

Already, it has been about two weeks since leaving Tokyo. From the second camp, the focus on training for games has increased, and fatigue has become more intense. The players take a deep breath and exhale the tense atmosphere here, refreshing themselves on their day off tomorrow.

After the off-season, we will focus on refining the details. From here on, there should be a fierce competition for the starting lineup. Our goal this season is to bring out the maximum potential of our team, so being in the starting lineup for the opening game does not guarantee security. We will continue this competition throughout the season. This is the intention of coach Rikizo MATSUHASHI, which can be seen in every aspect of this camp.

FOCUS ON

Official photographer's camp photo project "FOCUS ON" selected by Okinawa Itoman camp 2nd day pool training and caught Baek INHWAN player and Hisatoshi NISHIDO player talking in Korean while entering the jacuzzi, selected this one piece. Baek player has also become very friendly with the players during this camp. Hisatoshi player, who can speak a little Korean, is probably playing a good mediator. On this day as well, they were having a private talk while conveying small nuances in between.

CAMP VOICE vol.13 Marcelo RYAN

The potential of the highly anticipated new striker candidate is limitless. This season, Marcelo RYAN, who joined on loan from Sagan Tosu, is full of surprises. He easily shakes off defenders with his overwhelming speed and powerfully keeps the ball. Furthermore, he can score even from difficult positions, leaving his teammates in awe. I have seen this scene multiple times during this camp. I spoke to the bottomless RYAN about it.

Q, In the second camp, there has been an increase in training in game-like situations, and we have been able to see good plays utilizing Hian's speed and power.
A, As a team, we have been building up during this camp, so we feel like we are gradually getting closer to the end. In the game format, there are also times when we can hold onto the ball, and we are able to try various challenges within that. Each player is also able to use their physical strength while holding onto the ball. We have been able to create many good opportunities, but we are also starting to feel tired physically.

Q, the ball has been coming out well when Hian player breaks through behind.
A, I have been able to accumulate good practices, and breaking through behind the opponent's defender is one of my favorite play styles, so I have been able to talk to various players and spread it throughout the team. Of course, it is a good thing to be able to express my favorite play, and I think it will be a plus for the team as well.

Q, a new challenge has also begun.
A, we have started to work on things that we haven't done much before. There are also good results from that, and I think there will be even better things if we can increase our maturity. We have players who can handle anything, including various options.
