<Albert PUIG ORTONEDA>
Q: Today was the first training match of the season against a J1 club. Please share your honest impressions and feelings.
The results of matches and the number of goals in the preseason are not important. What matters is the content of the matches. It's about what we felt during the games. I believe both the players and I felt the same way; if we control the ball, we can firmly take the initiative in the match. However, it is also true that there were areas for improvement. In the first 15 minutes of the first half, we played too hastily and lost control of the game. After that, as the team gradually regained composure and started to control the ball, we were able to express the difference in individual levels against the opposing players. I think that was the takeaway from today. However, it is also true that there were many mistakes, so we must improve and correct them. We can only take our time and continue to make daily efforts. It is important to convince the players. If the players firmly believe in it, then continuing to make daily efforts will not be difficult.
Q: Compared to the practice match on the 26th, I think the intensity of the high press was impressive, and there were opportunities to win the ball in high positions. What are your thoughts on that?
A, the result of the last match was not important. However, we lost the ball frequently, and the opponent was a team good at maintaining possession, so there were times we lost control. We must convince the players and make them believe. Along with that, it is important to continuously improve on the points that need correction through daily effort. We need to reduce mistakes. There may be times when we win a match without those mistakes leading to goals against us. On the other hand, there are also times when we concede goals from one or two mistakes and end up losing the match. Therefore, it is crucial to reduce mistakes. As I have said many times before, I believe we will undoubtedly struggle in the first few months. However, we have high-quality players. In that sense, if we can continue to be patient and work hard, I believe we will definitely move in a good direction.
Q: I believe that when forwards convert chances like today, it buys us time to realize what we want to achieve, even though it takes time.
I expect that a player with high decision-making ability in the front line will give us calmness and confidence. However, if there is no awareness of trying to change the club, we will end up repeating the same path. I think this season will be a difficult one. If the fans and supporters understand this and endure together through the struggles for the success that will come in the future, I believe that significant reforms can be achieved. The club must also take risks. I think this season is a time to recognize that we must endure through this difficult period for a brighter future for the club. In order for the club to achieve stable success, we must take a long time to build a solid foundation as a team. Otherwise, the results of the matches will be determined by the quality of the players that season and the level of foreign players. Naturally, I expect a lot of criticism at the beginning of the season. But I'm okay because I don't understand Japanese (laughs)

Q: How was today's practice match?
I think it was good that I gradually began to understand what the coach was asking for and that I was able to realize it little by little.
Q: Is the feeling during practice different from the feeling during a match?
A, there are still areas where what we practice does not translate to the pitch during matches. I think everyone feels the same way, but while keeping in mind what the coach is asking for, there are still aspects of my own style that I haven't been able to express. From now on, I hope to meet the coach's demands while also showcasing my own characteristics.
Q: Are you currently more focused on adapting to the team's style?
Yes, that's right. There is a desire to meet the demands of the coach, and since it is a type of football that requires thought, I believe that as I get used to it, I will be able to express my own characteristics and style. For now, I want to focus on meeting the coach's demands.
Q: There are still a few practice matches left, but please tell us the issues you would like to work on.
When asked if I am meeting the coach's demands 100%, I believe there is still a long way to go. At the same time, I understand that I need to focus on the numbers, so I want to be conscious of that.
Q: I think it's a tough time for your body, but how is your condition?
I feel that we are heading towards the season. The opening is just a few weeks away, but I would like to refine things a bit more.

Q, this was the first match of the season against a J1 club, please review the game.
A, it was fun to play today, and I also feel like it has finally started. I want to shift into a higher gear from here.
Q: The practice matches so far have been positioned as training in a game-like format. How much of the results from the trial and error corrections made up to this point can be seen?
A, last season's football has not disappeared in a good way, and in a bad way, there are still many counters today, and we have not been able to score in the style of football we want to play, which we need to reflect on and practice. However, I believe that counterattacks are one way to score goals. I think it would be great if we could successfully integrate Coach Albert PUIG ORTONEDA's style of play, and if we can bring out our strengths in addition to what the coach is saying, I believe we can play even better football.
Q: You have been focusing on positioning in your training so far. What are the results?
A, while looking at the positions of my teammates, I have come to understand to some extent the overall positioning and where I should be. From here on, communication with my teammates becomes crucial. It is not just about my own position; the positions of the players in front and behind me are determined according to their respective positions, so I believe it is essential to raise the team's overall understanding of this.
Q: Were there any moments when the entire team was on the same page and positioned correctly?
Even if a few people understand on the same side, if they are not sharing on the opposite side, it doesn't matter. Even if there is a sense that we did well in certain situations, it was only shared among those two or three people. I felt that in order to win more matches, sharing among all 11 players is necessary.
Q: The camp has reached its halfway point and we have two practice matches scheduled. Please tell us your goals for those matches.
A, I think I understand this soccer to a certain extent, so I want to be conscious of showcasing my strengths and improving my conditioning based on that.
