I watched the previous match against FC Machida Zelvia from outside the pitch, and I felt a lot. Seeing the stability of the defensive line and the tenacious defense, I thought the team gained confidence that "if we maintain this intensity and focus, we can score a decisive goal and win at some point in the second half." The passion everyone put into the game was also strongly conveyed.
This is a match we absolutely cannot afford to lose as we aim to advance to the Emperor's Cup Final Round. We won against Machida in the league match, but there is absolutely no loose atmosphere within the team. Rather, I believe everyone is in a better-prepared state than last time, with a focused and positive atmosphere as we approach the match.

There is a difficulty in facing the same opponent consecutively under different regulations, such as the league matches and the Emperor's Cup. However, through the victory in the league match, a strong determination to "win next time as well" has further arisen throughout the entire team, and everyone's feelings have united as one. We want to approach this match with the mindset and resolve that it is the most important game of the season.
Machida lost to us in the previous match, so I believe they have thoroughly analyzed "why they lost" and "what was lacking" and will come back updated. They will have carefully studied our strengths and weaknesses and will likely target our weak points. They will approach this game with a rebound mentality after the loss, and I would do the same if I were in their position. I want to show play that surpasses and overwhelms that pressure.
The players on the pitch each fulfilled their roles. If I have the opportunity to play in the Semifinal Round, I want to contribute to the team offensively by supplying balls behind the opponent's defensive line and collaborating with the fullbacks to break down from the sides. On the defensive side, I expect there will be more situations dealing with long balls and sharp attacks from the opponents, so communication with teammates will be crucial. Every player is required to "work hard defensively," so I want to firmly embody that foundation.

We have fought through a single-elimination tournament with the entire team to get this far. That is why, when I play, I tell myself that I must carry the feelings of the whole team and fight for the team. I want to step onto the pitch with the team's "story" of advancing to the Semifinal Round in my heart.
Of course, the most important thing expected of an attacker is to score goals. However, above all, the only thing that matters is the team's victory. While being mindful of plays related to scoring, I will do whatever it takes, no matter how gritty, to seize the win.
And on the 16th, I want to spend a regret-free time together with all the fans and supporters. The stage of the Semifinal Round is a place the entire team has reached together. I want to give my best performance for the team and definitely advance to the Final Round.
