[Player and Coach Comments]
《Keigo HIGASHI》
(It was a priceless equalizing goal)
"I was glad that I could show the form we practiced during training in that goal scene.
However, as a team, it was a long-awaited match, and we were not able to enter the game in a good shape.
I think it was a match that showed the usual Tokyo style after we equalized.
We were able to show intensity in the second half, and we played without being pushed back by the opponent, so I want to build on this.
(I was shouting after the goal)
"I want to aim for another goal in the second half."
I have been working on improving my condition since camp, so my body is starting to move again.
It is quite difficult to improve our condition during consecutive matches, but now that we have resumed, I feel fresh and ready to approach the games, so I want to continue.
(In the scoring scene, we really won the competition)
"If we have more scenes like that, I think the goals will increase, and Tokyo has good crossers.
There are also situations where we are breaking down inside, so I think there will be opportunities outside as well. I believe there is still room for improvement, and since we have been working on our attacking patterns during the camp, we should see more of them coming out from now on.
《Kosuke OTA》
(2 assists. How do you feel about the match?)
"I thought it was a bit bad when we conceded the first goal, but it was good that Higashi quickly equalized for us.
Since Muroya assisted, I felt I couldn't lose, and I was satisfied with being able to assist another goal afterwards.
Above all, I am happy to have contributed to the team's victory.
(There were many breakthrough moments in the second half. What did you focus on at the start of the second half?)
"In the second half, Omori took good positioning. There was a lot of space in front of me, so it was easier to play.
In the third goal situation, we were able to break through the opponent with a one-touch pass, so I think the team's strategy worked well.
(We are holding a camp during the break, and I feel the team's atmosphere is good)
"Some players have transferred, but today, Okazaki showed solid good play.
I think such things are very important and will lead to the team's improvement. The league matches will resume, so I want everyone to tighten their focus and fight together from here.
Summary of the press conference by Kenta HASEGAWA, Tokyo's coach
"In the first half, since it was a game after a while, I think we were a bit lacking in speed and the power to approach the goal. We somehow managed to get to the front of the goal and take shots, but we couldn't really show the final intensity in the first half."
I think the power and intensity to finish the game really came out in the second half. In that kind of development, we were able to turn the game around and take the lead.
Today, we fought mainly with players who lacked match experience. The members who are in J3 have match experience, so I think it was good to bring in Yonemoto and Tanabe early to get them back into official matches.
The league matches will resume in another week, and we have also advanced to the next round of the Emperor's Cup. We want to prepare well as a team so that we can achieve victory again.
Summary of the press conference by Niigata's Masakazu SUZUKI
"In the first half, the players played well and maintained a compact defense, so it was good that we were able to score. In the second half, we conceded a goal because we stopped marking and allowed the opponent to take advantage in front of us."
However, I believe that the fact that the players did not give up and continued to strive for points until the end will lead to future success.
