[Player/Coach Comments]
"Taichi HARA"
(Looking back on the match)
"I couldn't play my best. I have a feeling that I can do more. I have a feeling that I couldn't do anything in the given time, and I'm really frustrated. I want to prepare myself to be able to challenge more in the next match."
(Did you feel a difference in intensity compared to J3 on the playing field?)
"I didn't feel much of a difference. The intensity in practice is actually higher than during games. I want to continue building on that through practice."
(I think I was asked to play a role in collecting the ball)
"I imagined a situation where I would collect the ball and Tagawa would actively make runs. I think we were able to create a few chances to attack. However, it's still not enough. I think we need to continue growing one step at a time from here."
"Kyosuke TAGAWA"
"We didn't start off badly in the first half and had some shooting opportunities. If we had been able to score, I think the game would have been a little easier."
(There were several scoring opportunities for Tagawa in the first half)
"I came into today's game with the mindset of constantly challenging and wanting to achieve results, and I felt that if I could improve my accuracy a little more, I could get the desired outcome."
(Repeatedly pulling out the ball, we were able to connect chances when the ball came)
"I was conscious of bringing out my strengths and was able to break through a few times and get to the goal. After that, I want to come up with more ideas and sharpen my senses even more."
(It became a chasing development, and I was thinking about how to attack)
"In the first half, there were times when the front line was isolated, and I thought there were not many attacks in collaboration with Harada, so I was conscious of that in the second half. Also, in the second half, there were many chances from cross balls, so I was thinking about playing to get in there firmly."
(The league and Levain Cup are still to come, so the battle is just beginning)
"My main desire is to get more involved and contribute wherever I am needed, so I will continue to do my best."
"Tokyo - Manager Kenta HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"We apologize for not being able to respond to the support of many fans and supporters who came to cheer us on. I think each player did their best, but I feel like as a team, we were not able to compete against Kofu."
Both teams had mainly players with few opportunities to play, but I think Kofu fought with the feeling of "let's beat Tokyo somehow" and I think the opponent was winning throughout the 90 minutes.
"I believe that each player who has been given a chance today has various thoughts, but I hope that they will grow from this defeat."
(What was your thinking to put a good ball into the front line?)
"Today, the side back was unable to attack well."
Ogawa also had a part where he had to do it on the spot, and there was also a question of how far he could go.
I think Okazaki was also in an unfamiliar position, but I don't think that's an excuse because I think it's the same for Kofu.
In that sense, I think there were more things I could have done, including my bench work.
"We played a disappointing game today, including those aspects."
(How was today's top two rated?)
"As for Tagawa, I think there were about three chances to score in the first half, but he couldn't finish them off."
I think that even though we were in a tough situation, we were able to produce results in J3 and came into today's match with some confidence. However, I wonder how much of that we were able to show in the 60 minutes.
"I think I understood my own ability in this official match, so I have to grow in the quality of each play."
"Kofu - Akira ITO Coach Press Conference Summary"
"In the first half, Tokyo put pressure on us, but we were able to play a counter-attacking game while defending well. We are challengers and we came into the game with the mindset of finishing it in the first half rather than just standing our ground. The players fought aggressively from the start. In particular, our fullbacks were able to contain Tokyo's wingbacks in defense."
In the second half, Tokyo aimed for the back, but the 3-backs firmly bounced back at the end. And young Kota MORI scored a goal for us."
