[Player and Coach Comments]
Taichi HARA
(Reflecting on the match)
"I couldn't fully express my play. I have a sense that I can do more. I feel like I did nothing in the time given to me, and I'm really frustrated. I want to switch gears properly and prepare to challenge myself more in the next match."
(Did you feel a difference in intensity compared to J3?)
"I hardly felt a difference. The intensity during practice is higher than during matches, and I want to continue building from practice."
(I think I was asked to take on the role of receiving the ball)
"I imagined a scenario where I would receive the ball and Tagawa would actively make runs forward. I believe we were able to create several attacking opportunities. However, it's still not enough. From here, I think we need to grow step by step."
《Kyosuke TAGAWA》
"We started the first half well, and we had some shooting opportunities. If we had been able to score during that time, I think the match would have been a bit easier."
(Tagawa also had several scoring opportunities in the first half)
"I approached today thinking I would challenge myself more and wanted to achieve some results, and I felt that if I could improve my accuracy a bit more, it would help."
(Repeatedly drawing out the ball, and when the ball came, it led to chances)
"I was conscious of bringing out my strengths and was able to break through a few times, reaching the goal area and creating chances. After that, I want to be a bit more creative in the next steps and sharpen my senses even more."
(It became a chasing game, and I was thinking about what kind of image to have for our attacks)
"In the first half, our forwards were isolated at times, and I felt there was little collaboration in our attacks with Haru. So, in the second half, I was conscious of that. Also, in the second half, there were many chances from crosses, so I was thinking about how to get into those situations and playing accordingly."
(The league and the Levain Cup battles are just beginning)
"My strongest desire is to get more involved at the top, so I want to do my best to demonstrate my abilities in the position I have been given."
《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference with Coach Kenta HASEGAWA》
"Many fans and supporters came to cheer for us, and I am very sorry that we could not respond to your feelings. I believe each player did their best, but as a team, I think Kofu fought better."
I think both teams were mainly composed of members who don't get many opportunities to play, but Kofu seemed to be fighting with the mindset of 'let's somehow defeat Tokyo,' and I believe the opponent was better throughout the 90 minutes.
I believe that each player who had the opportunity today has various thoughts, but I hope they will grow from this defeat.
(What kind of thoughts did you have to deliver good balls to the front line?)
"Today, the full-backs were unable to push forward effectively.
Ogawa also had some parts that were done on the spot, and there were questions about how far he could go.
I think Okazaki was also in an unfamiliar position, but I believe Kofu was in the same situation, so it cannot be an excuse.
In that sense, I think there were more things I should have done, including my bench work.
Including those aspects, we played a pathetic match today.
(What is the evaluation of today's two top players?)
Regarding Tagawa, I think there were about three clear chances in the first half, but he couldn't convert them.
Regardless, I think he approached today's match with a certain level of confidence after achieving results in J3, but how much of that could he demonstrate over the course of 60 minutes?
I think I realized my abilities in official matches like this, so I need to improve the quality of each and every play.
《Kofu - Summary of the Press Conference with Coach Akira ITO》
"From the first half, we were under pressure from Tokyo, but we were able to defend well while aiming for counterattacks. We entered the game with the mindset of being challengers, wanting to finish the game from the first half rather than just responding. The players fought aggressively from the first half. In particular, in side defense, both wing-backs were able to contain Tokyo's full-backs.
In the second half, Tokyo aimed for the back, but the three defenders held strong at the last moment. And the young Kota MORI scored a goal.
