[Player/Coach Comments]

"Masato MORISHIGE"
(Please share your honest thoughts now that the game is over)
"I wanted to win. It's frustrating."

(It was a development of who would decide, but what about the game development?)
"I don't think there was much difference in team strength, and the higher the level, the more it becomes a difference in individual abilities at the end. I think it was a good lesson for both young players and the team to feel that again, and to think about what they need to do in the future."

(What do you feel was missing to advance to the best 8?)
"We were always beaten in terms of individual abilities in the end."
"I feel like I can't go up from here unless I break through that barrier."

"Keigo Higashi"
"It was our team's 3rd attempt."
Everyone gave their all in the game, but we couldn't score a point and the opponent scored one. That might be the difference, I feel. I want to accept this result and move on to the next one."

(What do you feel as a captain?)
"I really wanted to play as many games as possible here."
I am really frustrated right now. As an individual, I felt the joy of being able to return from injury and play in a game, and I don't want to end it with the words "it was a good experience". I think it's a rare experience to play this many games in this atmosphere in a concentrated event like this, and we have to turn it into a positive in the future.
There are still remaining league matches, and there will also be the final round of the Levain Cup in the new year.
"I want to make the most of this experience in the remaining three games."

(To all fans and supporters)
"We did our best to have our games watched on TV as much as possible, and we really wanted to win."
"I want to show my growth in the last three games through this experience."

"Go HATANO Player"
(After the game ended, my honest feelings are)
"I feel frustrated, but I think it's something to be proud of to have participated in this tournament where only 3 teams from Japan can compete and play on such a stage. The tournament may be over, but I hope to come back again. We have the final round of the league and Levain Cup waiting for us when we return to Japan. I believe we have no choice but to prepare for the next challenge."

(Evaluation of yourself after playing in all 5 ACL matches)
"There are endless things to improve on, but I was able to play with confidence, so I believe I can return home with some growth. My soccer career is still long, so I want to use what I gained in this tournament for the future."

(What did you feel about ACL?)
"I learned that it is important to stay focused until the end and not let my guard down, as I could be defeated in one shot. I will continue to work hard so that I can save my team in crucial moments."

"Shuto ABE"
"It was a game where we had to win since it was the Final Round tournament."
"We were highly motivated before the game and were able to enter the game in a good atmosphere, but unfortunately we were unable to win and both as a team and individually, it was a disappointing result and this tournament has come to an end."

(The missing part was)
"I think we couldn't score because we didn't take enough shots. Also, I felt that we needed to be more creative in breaking through individually, or make more runs into deeper positions and cross the ball."

(How to connect this experience)
"I think it was great to be able to experience the ACL in my first year as a professional, and in this tournament, I was able to feel a lot of things for myself. There are still two league matches and the Levain Cup final, so I want to use the toughness I gained in this tournament and fight."

"Tokyo - Manager Masaru HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"I think the players did a really great job."
We were far behind by one point, and the opponent took advantage of a momentary gap.
Renato AUGUSTO has been creating chances while opening up both sides, and I think we responded well, but it's regrettable that we were split vertically only in that scene and the response inside became slightly weak.
Afterwards, we desperately wanted to score a point.
Still, we were able to face this tournament with a great team.
Although we were stopped by the wall of the best 16, I want to use this experience to do our best and advance beyond the best 16 as FC Tokyo next time.

(What game plan did you approach with?)
"I wanted to settle it in 90 minutes. We had a good start in the first half and didn't give the opponent any chances. I think Tokyo had more chances."
"We had a desire to take the lead and push through."

(When we actually played against them, they had strong players in the front line.)
"As expected, Beijing Guoan was a fantastic team."
However, Tokyo had not lost at all.
I think Beijing was one step ahead in terms of the ability to make the final decision.

(I think there was fatigue in the second half)
Both teams were fatigued, I think.
Both teams were stretched out and it became a situation of who would "decide" the game.
I think that was the crucial time. It was also a chance for us. However, we couldn't take one or two steps forward. I think the opponent was superior there."

(I think this season was a difficult one. How do you want to make use of the experience of this season?)
"It was a very difficult year for both the soccer world and daily life."
It was a season that made me think about how to survive, support my life, and continue playing soccer and sports, which I have never experienced before.
In the midst of it all, the entire world came together in solidarity to once again play football and sports, while wracking their brains for ideas.
With the cooperation of AFC, JFA, and J-League, we were able to play football and participate in such a wonderful tournament. Even in such a situation, being able to continue playing football is something that I believe will be a source of support for me in the face of adversity in the future.
Looking back on this tournament, it was truly a wonderful event. I am grateful to have been able to participate in this tournament once again."

(Did the young talented players of the Tokyo Olympic generation gain something big from this concentrated event?)
"I think I gained a great experience."
I think there were some parts that I was not used to in this tournament in Asia, but I think there are things that I actually felt while playing.
I think it will lead to the Olympics next year. I want them to use this experience as their nourishment and grow.
