[Player and Coach Comments]

The venue for the FC Tokyo U-23 home opening match is AJINOMOTO FIELD NISHIGAOKA.

It is a place that has produced many memorable matches as FC Tokyo.
FC Tokyo U-23 has made two changes to the starting lineup from the last match.
Takahashi at the bottom of the midfield, and Yamada, a special designated player by JFA and J-League, makes his debut as a center-back.
The captain's armband will be worn by Yoshimoto, and they will challenge with a 4-4-2 formation.
In contrast, FC Ryukyu is a team characterized by its frequent use of short passes, carefully connecting the ball from the defensive line to control the game.
They came in with momentum after defeating Fujieda 1-0 in the opening match.
The match began with the kickoff from FC Tokyo U-23, watched by 3,584 fans and supporters.

[First Half]
The two players making their debut for FC Tokyo U-23 excite the stadium right from the start.
In the 4th minute, Takahashi intercepted the opponent's pass in the midfield. Nakajima picked up the loose ball and dribbled forward through the center.
Connecting to Hiraoka, who runs down the right side to attract the opponent, but the cross is blocked by the opposing defender.

Furthermore, in the 13th minute, Insoo YU stole the ball in the center of the opponent's half, but Nakajima's shot on the loose ball did not connect.
Both teams try to connect carefully in midfield, but they cannot evade the opponent's press and move the ball forward to the goal.
Rugby gradually begins to dominate the ball, but Tokyo creates chances from both the left and right sides.
In the 25th minute, when the opponent's cross was caught by the goalkeeper, Insoo YU quickly ran down the left side to initiate a counterattack.
In the 26th minute, Hiraoka advanced deep down the right side and delivered a cross. Takahashi received it on the opposite side and connected it to Nakajima, but it did not result in a goal.
Once again, Ryukyu controls the ball, while Tokyo builds a block, with sharp pressing and a defensive line centered around Yoshimoto putting their bodies on the line to protect the goal and maintain focus.
However, in the 43rd minute, a free kick was awarded about 30 meters from the goal on the right side of the midfield, and a sharp cross was headed in at the near post, allowing the first goal.
Trailing 0-1 at halftime.

【Halftime】
Coach Anma's Comments
"Defense must continue to be proactive and coordinated. Let's definitely seize the victory in the remaining 45 minutes."

【Second Half】
Both teams will challenge the second half without any player substitutions.
The match, which started with a kickoff from Ryukyu, saw Ryukyu take a shot just 9 seconds in, gaining the upper hand.
Then, in the 52nd minute, Tokyo lost the ball in their own half, and after a through pass, a powerful shot with the right foot was scored, making it 0-2.
Tokyo continues to apply pressure in the midfield and engage in battles for the ball, but the flow of the game is not changing much.
In the 65th minute, Matsumoto was brought in to replace Insoo YU, making a change.
However, in the 67th minute, a cross from the left side was headed in at the near post, making it 0-3.
Hiraoka is replaced by Yajima from Tokyo, and Yajima is positioned in the front line.
Tokyo, unable to seize the flow of the game, was broken through by a passing play in the center in the 78th minute, resulting in a one-on-one shot against the GK, but it was saved by the post.
This is where Tokyo's counterattack begins.
In the 79th minute, when Okazaki received the ball on the left side of the midfield, Matsuoka made a superb run behind the opponent's defensive line at the perfect timing and delivered a long pass.
Matsuoka controls the ball while competing with the opposing DF, but is blocked by the advancing GK.
The first goal of FC Tokyo U-23 was scored in the 83rd minute.
Receiving the ball near the right sideline, Yanagi cuts inside and delivers a cross with his left foot, and Yajima, who runs into the center in front of the goal, heads it in to score a point.
Furthermore, in the 86th minute, Nakajima and Matsuoka worked together on the left side to advance into the penalty area and delivered a cross, which Yanagi, who had entered the penalty area, shot.
Even though Sakuno rushed in for the blocked loose ball, the opposing defense put their bodies on the line.
The additional goal was scored in the 88th minute, with Yanagi receiving a long pass from Nakajima, breaking deep down the right side and delivering a low cross.
Matsuoka dives in at the near side to make it 2-3.
In the additional time, the right corner kick saw GK Iwai overlap, and despite fighting until the end, they lost 2-3.
It has started with consecutive losses.

Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23.
We appreciate your continued warm support.

【Summary of Coach Anma's Press Conference】
"Since we had over 3,000 fans and supporters here at Nishigaoka, it was definitely a game where we wanted to achieve victory. Like the previous match, it was a game with short preparation time, but we started by building our defensive block. There was no pressure on the ball from that point, so this time we focused on the challenge of winning the ball back. Nakajima and Yukino acted as switches, and I believe we were able to implement coordinated pressing in the first half."
Regarding the attack, in the last match, even though we regained possession of the ball, we couldn't create attacking formations and there was no place for the ball to settle up front. However, by positioning Nakajima and Yukino in the front line, we created situations where players on both sides could advance. Compared to the last match, the number of attacks increased, but I believe we need to train much more on the final quality aspect.
By participating in official matches, we must learn about conceding goals within our flow and conceding goals at the start of the second half.
In the last 15 minutes, I want to not only have the determination to aim for the goal with all my might but also to develop the skills to extend that time.
I hope to organize what I was able to do and what I couldn't, and I want you to work hard to take the position.

【Player Comments】
《Yanagi》
"As a team, we conceded a goal at the end of the first half and another at the start of the second half, so I think we need to focus more on progressing through the game. Personally, in the situation where we had to score in the last 15 minutes, I was able to receive the ball more often in the high positions I wanted and I think it was good that I took the initiative. However, not being able to achieve victory means we still have a long way to go."
(Reflecting on each assist scene) Regarding the first assist, I had been practicing left-footed crosses a lot recently, so being able to execute that in the match gives me confidence. For the second goal, a good ball came from a switch of play, and I think it was finished with a good first touch. Since I was able to make a good first touch, the players were able to enter the box with intensity, so I just had to match that.
(Towards the next match) We conceded 3 goals in this match, so in the next match, we must keep a clean sheet and I want to contribute to the victory with assists.
