[Player and Coach Comments]

Tokyo, having earned its first point in the previous match, heads to the away game at Tottori Bird Stadium for Sec. 6.

In Tokyo, GK Iwa is participating, and in the DF line, Yoshimoto is wearing the captain's armband and forming a partnership with Okazaki.
In the midfield, just like in the previous match, Sasaki and Yukino are positioned at the bottom, with Hiraoka on the right and Ikiji making his starting lineup appearance since the opening match on the left.
Up front, Hayashi and Insoo YU will challenge in a 4-4-2 formation.
Tottori, on the other hand, has not won a match this season and is aiming for their first home victory with a strong two-top lineup of FERNANDEZ and Kurozu.
In somewhat chilly weather, the match between the teams aiming for their first victory began with Tottori's ball.

[First Half]
Tokyo took the initiative from the start.
Just 45 seconds after the start, Nozawa receives the ball near the left sideline and connects it to Nagai running diagonally to the right front.
The player attempts to shoot as they enter the penalty area diagonally, but the opposing DF blocks the shot.
Tokyo, unable to seize the momentum, is gradually dominated by Tottori in the game and is pressured towards the goal.
Tokyo sets a high line centered around Yoshimoto, maintains a compact formation, and does not easily allow the ball to be carried to the goal area.
As the time to endure continues, Yukino and Sho SASAKI receive the ball, starting to secure their own time and change the flow.
In the 26th minute, Kiji broke through on the left side and connected with Sho SASAKI, who aimed for the goal with a long shot, but it went to the left of the target.
In addition, in the 30th minute, Yukino, Ikiji, Hayashi, and Nozawa broke through the left side with a series of passes.
In the end, when the fabric cuts in, the Tottori DF stops it with a foul, earning a free kick just outside the left side of the penalty area.
Kono directly aims for it, but it goes wide to the upper left of the goal.
Tokyo, not easing their attacking efforts, connected four passes in midfield at the 36th minute, passing to Hiraoka and Yanagi on the right side.
Connecting this to Hayashi, who has entered near the side inside the penalty area, he delivers a low cross from a deep position, but it just misses.
From this flow, now Nozawa and Kiji approach the Tottori goal from the left side, but the cross does not connect in the middle and they cannot score.
A breakthrough coordinated from the side was seen in the 41st minute.
Hayashi receives the ball in the center of the midfield and holds it up, then passes to Hiraoka on the right side. Hiraoka dribbles inward while Yanagi runs outside, and after passing to Yanagi, Hiraoka delivers a low cross, but it doesn't connect.
When this ball flows to the opposite side, Tokyo picks it up again and connects it to Yukino.
Kouya raises his head and shoots from distance without hesitation, but it is saved by the GK.
If you miss the chance, the momentum will shift to Tottori.
Just before the end of the first half, the opponent faced forward in the center of Tokyo's defense and took a long-range shot, but Yoshimoto blocked it with a sliding tackle.
The defense maintained their concentration and went into halftime at 0-0.

Coach Anma's Comments
"Defense must remain focused just like in the first half. In terms of offense, we need to continue to be aggressive. The speed of transition, momentum, and passion are important."

[Second Half]
Tottori made one substitution for FW. Tokyo entered the second half without making any substitutions.
Intense battles in the midfield continue as both sides strive to seize the initiative, leading to heated moments.
Among them, Tokyo takes the lead.
In the 52nd minute, defender Okazaki connected a middle pass to Hayashi, who drifted to the left. Hayashi then dribbled diagonally into the penalty area from the left side.
He passes this to Sasaki with a negative pass, and when Sasaki takes a mid-range shot, it hits the crossbar.
Insoo YU quickly reacted to this loose ball and kicked it into the net with a half-volley, successfully scoring the opening goal.
With this momentum, Tokyo creates even more opportunities.
In the 54th minute, Sakino connected a vertical pass to Insoo YU on the right side, and Hiraoka, who got behind on the right side, made a deep run and delivered a cross, but the defender cleared it for a right corner kick.
Hiraoka picked up the loose ball from this corner kick and delivered an early cross, but both Insoo YU and Yanagi had decisive shots that were thwarted by the opponent's GK's excellent save.
Despite continuing to press towards the Tottori goal, the momentum shifted to Tottori as they couldn't break through.
However, Yoshimoto of Tokyo throws his body multiple times to block shots.
In the 64th minute, after being faced by the opponent in midfield and being challenged with a dribble, a shot was taken just before the penalty area, but Yoshimoto blocked it with a sliding tackle.
In the 80th minute, Yoshimoto once again threw his body in a sliding block to stop a shot from an opposing player who broke through on the right side and was approaching the goal diagonally.
At times in Tokyo, Hayashi picked up a clearance ball in the center of his own half and created a buildup, while Hiraoka launched a counterattack solo down the right side.
In the 81st minute, there was a one-on-one with the opposing GK, but the opposing GK made the save.
Tokyo, enduring a time of patience, features Hayashi and Insoo YU in the front line. Uchida, Suzuki, and Matsuoka, who came on as substitutes, continue to desperately fend off the opponent's attacks.
Many Tokyo supporters who rushed to Torigin Bird Stadium are also desperately raising their voices, fighting alongside the players.
Then, after about 5 minutes of additional time, the referee's long whistle blew, marking FC Tokyo U-23's first victory in the league.

Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23 today.
We appreciate your continued warm support.

【Summary of Coach Anma's Press Conference】
"Even though we haven't been able to earn points in every match, I am proud of the players who have played with confidence until the very end, practicing hard and giving their all within the time given. I want to continue supporting them so that we can secure opportunities to participate in J1, believing in their potential."
I would like to thank the fans, supporters, and staff who supported us in holding the J3 matches while the J1 matches were taking place.
In the last match, everyone fought desperately against Gamba Osaka U-23 and earned 1 point. To earn 3 points, we need to run more and approach the game with more passion.
I think it was good that we worked hard from the start of today's match to present a victory to those who came with passion.
There are still many players who are technically lacking, but I believe that without this aspect, they will not succeed as professional football players, and I don't think it will resonate with the fans and supporters. Therefore, I want to work with the players based on this.

《Insoo YU》
"(What was your image of the scoring scene?) It was a rebound from the shot, but I was consciously anticipating it myself, and I tried to skillfully aim the ball that was bouncing. Since the ball was in a good position, I took a powerful shot. (What about your celebration after the goal?) I made a heart shape to express my gratitude to the fans and supporters who came all the way to Tottori to cheer us on. (Looking back on the match?) Although we had several injured players, I expected it to be a difficult game. Even so, everyone fought hard, and after scoring the one goal, I think everyone showed their determination to defend it throughout the game. (What is needed to play in J1?) There are still noticeable mistakes from each of us, but through communication among players, I want to overcome my own mistakes and the team’s mistakes. I hope to fight hard so that results follow. We are currently playing in J3 to compete in J1, so I hope all the members fighting here now can play in J1."
