[Player and Coach Comments]

The opponent in Sec. 8 of the 2016 Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company J3 League, played at the away NHK Spring MitsuzawaFootballStadium, is Y.S.C.C. Yokohama, both teams having 5 points.

Tokyo's defense, as in the previous match, will be guarded by Kai.
The DF line is arranged from the right as Yanagi, Yoshimoto, Okazaki, and Nozawa.
In the midfield, there are SASAKI and Yukino at the bottom, Hiraoka on the right, and Insoo YU on the left. In the center, Ha DAESUNG, making his first appearance and first start in the J3 League as an over-age player, is positioned.
Forward Muriqui will continue to play from the previous match, forming a 4-5-1 formation.
Yokohama FC will also adopt the same 4-5-1 formation as they approach the match.
The temperature rose, and the match, perfect for soccer, started with a kickoff in Tokyo.

[First Half]
The match, which started with both teams setting high lines and compact formations to contest midfield dominance, gradually saw Tokyo aiming for the space behind the YS Yokohama defense line as time went on.
In the 12th minute, Yukino turned to face forward in the central midfield, and Hiraoka timed his run to break behind the right side and received a through pass.
Hiraoka dribbled forward with the ball and connected with Muriqui, who had entered the near side, but the ball was not controlled properly and was caught by the opposing goalkeeper.
Furthermore, in the 15th and 17th minutes, Yukino sent the ball to Muriqui, who broke through the opponent's defensive line, but it was blocked by the opposing GK.
Tokyo, increasing their offensive pressure, saw Muriki receive the ball on the left side of midfield in the 22nd minute, evading a one-on-one with the opposing DF.
Insoo YU timed his run and broke through behind the defense, but Muriqui's final pass was caught by the opposing goalkeeper who came out.
YS Yokohama approaches the Tokyo goal as they struggle to score.
In the 25th minute, after allowing a breakthrough on the left side, Okazaki came in to cover and blocked it with a sliding tackle.
However, when the loose ball was picked up by YS Yokohama, they delivered a cross in a somewhat unexpected manner, but the goalkeeper responded calmly.
Furthermore, in the 29th minute, after the ball was spread from the left side to the opposite side, a cut-in allowed a shot to be taken.
This is protected by the crossbar and is a close call.
If they get through this period, Tokyo will start to create rhythm again as Ha DAESUNG and Yukino receive the ball.
In the 40th minute, Hiraoka used his trademark speed to break through between two opponents on the right side and delivered a low cross, but it did not connect with his teammates.
In the 43rd minute, Muriqui, who dropped to the midfield to receive the ball, connected with Yanagi, who surged up the right side.
Yanagi chose an early cross and sent the ball to the goal area, but it did not connect with his teammates.
Approaching the goal but leaving issues with the final pass, ending the first half at 0-0.

【Halftime】
Coach Anma's Comments
"Let's support quickly when the ball is played to the front line. Defense should clearly mark. Keep trying and let's seize our one chance."

【Second Half】
Neither team made substitutions, and the second half begins.
Then, YS Yokohama started to actively press from the front right from the start, beginning to take control.
Although shots were allowed in the 46th and 50th minutes, the goalkeeper caught them and did not concede a goal.
Tokyo advances the ball but the attacks are single strikes, and as they receive counterattacks from YS Yokohama, their line begins to drop gradually.
In the 58th minute, Tokyo is looking for a chance to counterattack. In the opponent's central area, Insoo YU seizes the opponent's mistake, takes the ball, and passes it to Muriqui.
Muriqui approached the goal from the center but missed the chance as he couldn't take the shot.
As both sides struggled to find a breakthrough, the 68th minute arrived.
When Muriqui spreads to the right side, he connects with Hiraoka and Yanagi and passes to Yukino. Yukino then tries to connect directly to Ha DAESUNG, who flowed into the penalty area, but it just misses.
In the 72nd minute, they approached the goal from the left side. Nozawa became the starting point and connected to Muriqui, who took a shot after cutting in.
This is blocked by the DF, but Yukino picks up the loose ball, evades the opposing DF, and as he moves forward, he takes a carefully aimed shot that goes straight to the GK.
In the 74th minute, just after approaching the goal, they advanced from the left side and created a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper.
When the defender jumped in to block, they ended up bringing down the opposing player, resulting in a penalty kick decision.
They scored first by putting this in the left corner.
Tokyo brings in Kiji and Uchida one after another to boost the attack.
Furthermore, Matsumoto was brought in to replace Insoo YU, who was injured due to contact with an opposing player.
The biggest chance for Tokyo, who intensified their offensive, came in the 85th minute.
Muriqui broke through behind the opponent's defensive line and created a one-on-one situation with the opponent's GK, but the opponent's GK made a good save.
In the 88th minute, Yoshimoto passed the ball to Yanagi on the right side, who then made a cutback to Matsuo, who was charging into the center of the goal with his left foot.
Matsuoka heads the ball after getting behind the opponent's defender, but is once again thwarted by the opponent's goalkeeper's excellent save.
In the last play of additional time at 90+4 minutes, GK Ue participated in the attack for a left corner kick.
Kono's kick was aimed at Yoshimoto, who entered the near side, and although Yoshimoto tried to volley the loose ball again, it went high above the goal just as time was up.
Lost 0-1

【Summary of Coach Yasuma's Press Conference】
"Thank you to the fans and supporters who stopped by before the Shonan match in this heat and cheered for the U-23 team.
Regarding the match, at halftime, the players understood among themselves that the opponent was trying to create chances by playing the ball behind our defensive line, leading to some confusion. They agreed to communicate clearly and handle that situation. From a game perspective, we were confirming when to turn the 0-0 score into 1-0. However, we couldn't hold back and conceded a penalty kick, and I hope this experience will be valuable for the future. In terms of offense, although we managed to get behind the opponent's high defensive line, a pass from Hiraoka to Muriqui early in the game was off by about one meter, preventing us from scoring. Also, the low number of shots taken clearly highlights an issue with finishing accuracy. We aim to improve this by repeatedly training to replicate the same feeling as in the game, thereby raising our quality. This will surely lead to victories and allow us to respond to the fans and supporters who come to watch us, even on the same day as the J1 League matches. We want to turn today's experience into growth and continue making daily efforts."

【Player Comments】
《Ha DAESUNG》
「(How was it to play with Insoo YU?) It was my first time playing in a match with Insoo YU, and there were some parts that didn't quite match, but we were able to resolve it by communicating during the game.
(How was the collaboration with other players?) There were times when young players demanded things from me, and I also had demands for the young players, but we were able to communicate our needs to each other during halftime and progress through the match. (How is your condition?) I had been in a situation where I was alternating between playing and not playing in several J1 matches, so for today's game, I felt I needed to improve my game sense and physical condition, and that's why I participated.
